Super convinient. Redemption code is mailed to you, enter the code and your card is ready to be activated. We used it extensively right from the time we landed at airport till we depart for other country. Saw many attractions and travelled on public transport
This is a 24-hour pass, which is much more flexible than other passes that are valid for one day. Many Danish museums open at 10 o'clock, so you can use the pass after noon on the first day to visit several places until the evening (you can arrange to visit a few museums that are open until 10 o'clock in the evening). Before the pass expires at noon on the second day, you can use the 10 o'clock opening time to exchange for those places that require entry according to time periods, and when exchanging, tell them what time period you want to arrange for entry in the afternoon? In this way, even if the pass expires at noon, you can still visit or take a cruise because you have exchanged the admission ticket for the afternoon of that day before it expires. Although you only buy a 24-hour pass, the actual usage time is nearly two days, which is very cost-effective.
Download the app, easy to redeem the card, flexible to use the card at attractions. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the card to the full potential due to time constraints. This card would provide great value if you are able to use it at most of the attractions.
I sincerely recommend the Copenhagen Card to friends who plan to travel in depth! We started using it from the first day we arrived and felt the value immediately. We went to the City Hall Tower, the Danish Design Museum and the Museum of Nordic Mythology. These places that originally required purchasing tickets can be directly admitted with the Copenhagen Card. There are also some small exhibitions and handicraft shops that can be visited for free. What I especially like is the map and suggested itinerary included on the card, which helped us save a lot of time and enable us to plan the route reasonably without missing any key attractions. After the entire trip, we calculated that the ticket fees for these attractions alone exceeded the price of the card, not to mention the transportation included, allowing us to easily travel throughout the city without worrying about maps or routes.
a must buy when you plan to travel around copenhagen, Koge and Helsingor. But from here, get the activation code, paste at the CPH Card apps and activate it when you about to use. just get on board to the transportation and show them the QR code upon request (Train), show to the drive when you get into the bus, show to the ticket counter when you’re on the attraction.
I bought a 96-hour ticket and went to Amalienborg in total (I think it’s okay, there is also a changing guard at 12 hours that you can see, but to be honest, Stockholm next door is more interesting) Rosenborg Slot, (you can go see this if you have time, a lot of soldiers will When walking in the courtyard, remember not to block their way. They are actually quite gentle and will remind you what you can do. But in fact, I think the government should consider separate routes for soldiers and tourists, otherwise soldiers will easily run into tourists.) Statens Museum for Kunst, (there is a cafe with a pretty good interior design) Museum of Natural History, (you can touch polar bear skins and see dodo bird specimens) Frederiksborg Ferry, take a boat ride next to the castle Frederiksborg Slot, The Kronborg Castle, M/S Maritime Museum, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art are pretty good, I recommend the Danish Architecture Center Dansk Arkitektur Center, the Church of Our Savior has a lot of fun with the slides, it’s very windy and high up so you can see the whole thing City Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, highly recommended. Christiansborg Slot is my favorite museum in Copenhagen. It has a very interesting history. It was originally a fortress and turned into a castle. It was burned down twice on the way. Tivoli is the place where I know the most about Danish history. If you want to visit, buy an additional ticket for 299dkk Copenhagen. You can see the polar bear Nationalmuseet at the zoo. I bought seal Christmas stocking decorations here. They are very cute. It is the only store where I buy souvenirs. Although the Canal tour Copenhagen is made by Greenland, it is very crowded. There are many people on the day of 6. Most of the museums are closed after closing. Please note that some museums may be open until night on different days. It is recommended to take advantage of it. When it comes to all the times, check online first. Actually, there is an itinerary to see the botanical garden, but it is different from what Google says. It is not 8:30-6. It is 10.-5. It seems that there must be someone who can refer to the recent photos. Take some time for reference so as not to miss out. Even if you buy student tickets, the total cost will be at least 2471 Dkk, which is very cost-effective. Even if you take public transportation, do not consider fare evasion, as the penalty is 800dkk per trip. I had my ticket checked twice when I was in Copenhagen, and the ticket inspectors were very conscientious. The four tourists next to me started buying tickets when they saw the station staff getting on the bus, and were fined in the end. Highly recommend purchasing this ticket. When purchasing, you will receive a number from klook to download the Copenhagen card city guide and enter it to use! Very convenient!
getting a copenhagen card to explore the city is soo easy and seamless. no need to waste time to buy tix for rides, just show QR Code through the app, rides on buses and trains are unlimited within the city. Plus you can save a lot of money especially if you wanna visit or do a lot of attractions. And we managed to do 12 attractions in our 48 hr card.
We bought the 48hrs Copenhagen Card and it was the best deal! We were able to access the main attractions in Copenhagen and was able to ride the bus and train unlimited during our whole stay. It was very convenient to use. Just show the QR Code in your mobile app when accessing attractions and when riding public transportation, just keep your phone handy as anytime there are random checks in the bus or train. The officers will just look at your QR code and thay's it. Plus, we were able to ride the bus going to the airport as its included in the pass.
