Hongyadong Hanfu Rental and Photography Experience in Chongqing

I recently tried the Chuxun travel photography service at Hongyadong, and it was absolutely worth it! At night, Hongyadong lights up so beautifully, it feels like stepping into a movie scene. The photographer was very professional, constantly guiding my poses and expressions, so even if you're not usually good at taking pictures, there's no need to worry. The photoshoot was very relaxed, and the photographer was excellent at finding the best angles, capturing the night view and lights of Hongyadong with such an atmospheric feel. Every shot truly highlighted the unique charm of Chongqing's night scenery ✨. The final photos were a wonderful surprise; they weren't just travel pictures, but more like a set of travel portraits with a story. If you're visiting Chongqing and want to create special memories, I highly recommend getting a travel photoshoot at Hongyadong 📸.

I was so confused which store would I choose. So many stores with the same services being offerred. I found this store on Klook and it was great. I am extremely happy. I looked like a doll after my make up. The makeup artist ( wearing black ) is really talented! The staff are so hospitable and they even offered to tidy my things. As A foreigner, They even helped me with my clothes and I tried 2 sets of clothes. I felt like they did their best to make me happy and I was very satisfied. My only problem was, The photographer was so good in taking angles and photos that I ended up with 16 photos. If I could get all of them, I would! I paid extra for my photos. My Iphone camera photos was nothing compared to the photos they took of me. Overall I will rate this store 10/10!

it was a nice experience. just a little bit of struggle because all the staff can't speak understand english but there's always a google translate app to help. you will be asked to choose from a wide range of outfits then after that is the hair and make up. at first I was very anxious if it would suit but yeah, the traditional chinese look were on point and I liked how they've done my photoshoot. experience: amazing location: Hongyadong

it’s good, I let the picture to speak for it self

I had such a good time with them and I have never worn that style of makeup or clothes, but was surprised at how much their recommendations suited me! As a foreigner I was a little worried, but thankfully I speak some Chinese so it helped. Keep in mind though that they do not speak any English, so make sure to use google translate. Buying the photos was a little expensive, but they were so beautiful so I made sure to buy the best ones! As a side note, especially at the beginning I was aware of them discussing me but because of my limited Chinese could not understand everything they were saying. It made me very uncomfortable at points. But as a whole, the intructors, ESPECIALLY the photographer and editor were so so so lovely, and I had a fantastic experience. Try book so that you will be photographed in the evening! Hongyadong at night time is stunning.

We came around 5pm and the pictorial only started at 8pm so we had time to take pictures around the area wearing the hanfu. For those who are quite sensitive to sharing make up products, it’s advisable to bring your own, but for us it was quite ok, never experience any reaction from their make-up products. The photographer was also very kind & patient considering that we don’t speak Chinese.

I worked hard to communicate my desired style with the photography and makeup artists. I also requested minimal photo editing, hoping to largely maintain my original face shape and a natural skin tone, even if it meant a few imperfections. I'm very satisfied with the final result! I've seen many people whose photos look very similar, almost as if they've all been edited to look the same. However, all the artists here genuinely listened to my needs, and their posing guidance was very friendly. Overall, the process was very efficient. Highly recommend!Safety: Good. There weren't too many people when I went, and you don't need night shots for Tibetan-style photos. I waited for too long — almost 1.5 hours — without any prior information. The communication was also difficult, even though we could have used Google Translate to make it easier
