What to expect
You will be picked up at your hotel or at a location in Medan city and then travel by car for up to 3 hours to get to Bahorok village in Bukit Lawang. Upon arrival at Bukit Lawang, our team will guide you to explore Leuser National Park. You’ll start by walking along the river, then ascend through rubber plantations on your way to the Gunung Leuser National Park entrance.forest, you may be lucky enough to spot semi-wild Sumatran orangutans. Many are accustomed to human presence, making this a fantastic opportunity to watch them swing through the trees and care for their young. As you continue trekking, enjoy a refreshing snack of tropical fruits before hiking further to stunning viewpoints overlooking the Bohorok River and Gunung Leuser National Park and enjoy a delicious jungle lunch

Incredible experience cannot recommend enough. Our guide was superb and catered for all of our needs, we saw 7 orangutans across the 2 days plus gibbons, monkeys and lots of bird wildlife! the fresh fruit and all the meals were so yummy and the tubing at the end (jungle taxi) was a great finale!
