Chengdu Night Cruise on Jinjiang River

Cruise was quite delightful ride thru all the lighted areas in the river passage. Highlight was the lighted Anshun Bridge and the boat stays there a few minutes for us to take plenty of photos of the beautifully lighted bridge. Only slight hang up was the Dongmen Wharf attendant had to repurchase the tickets using the Klook voucher I showed him so it took about 10 minutes waiting but not a big deal. It was wonderful to see part of the colorfully lighted Chengdu city.

Chengdu never fails to amaze visitors with its stunning night views! A night cruise on the Jinjiang River is an absolute must-do. Gliding through the brilliant lights, you’ll feel like you’ve instantly traveled back to ancient Rongcheng, with the perfect atmosphere all around. The night scenery along the river is breathtakingly beautiful. The lights shimmer on the water, painting a picturesque scene at every turn. You can board directly by scanning the KLOOK QR code, no long queues needed. The whole experience is smooth and hassle-free.

We booked our trip during China's May Day holiday, and the lines were so long that we would have had to wait over an hour, so we gave up. I recommend choosing the boat tour on a non-holiday or checking the crowd situation at the site before deciding whether to buy a ticket. Even though we wasted a ticket, the riverside scenery was beautiful, and we still took many lovely photos.

It was easy to find the boarding point and redeem using the QR code. There are various boats and it’s well organised as they leave on a regular basis. The ride is quite short, stopping off at two other wharfs before heading back, but a lovely way to enjoy the lights and bridges.

Really nice experience, peaceful ride on a boat with great views on both banks of Jinjang River. Very enjoyable.

we waited for quite a while before the boat started moving, so don’t have to be there super early. i think can reach there arnd 7pm earliest. might be due to the sunset time tho. had a good view of an shun bridge but nothing fantastic abt the boat ride itself.

The place was easy to find, just a few steps away from the MRT station. Just show your voucher and wait to board. The ride was pleasant and the boat driver made sure we all had enough time to take photos and enjoy the view of the bridge and surrounding light displays. Something you can do before or after dinner if you want to chill and rest your tired legs from all the walking!

The cruise features breathtaking view and offers a perfect spot to taking photo of the Anshun Bridge. Very interesting cruise with some special show and/or performance (shall not spoil). Worth it to take the cruise.
