Klook China Guizhou Private Customized Tour (Guiyang/Tongren/Huangguoshu Waterfall/Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village)

This is the third time we've chosen KLOOK to arrange our family vacation, and this time we came to the beautiful Xingyi, Guizhou. The itinerary was very rich, including famous local attractions like Wanfenglin (Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks), Maling River Canyon, and Wanfeng Lake, as well as cave exploration that the kids enjoyed. We even got to experience digging for fossils. Although the weather wasn't always perfect and we unfortunately couldn't go paddleboarding, the overall trip experience was as good as ever. The staff in the group chat were very considerate, helping us adjust the plan since we were traveling with seniors, and actively responded to our needs, continuously optimizing the itinerary. Our driver, Master Wang Zhongjun, was very professional, drove smoothly, prepared fruits and snacks, and was always eager to meet our requests. Thanks to Master Wang's thoughtful service, our family had a wonderful May Day holiday. Guizhou is beautiful, and we look forward to visiting again next time!

I've recommended our tour designs and groups to many of my friends. The hotel arrangements were excellent, and the itinerary was well-planned. What I appreciate the most is our driver, Mr. Jin! Guizhou's attractions are quite spread out, and the journeys are long. We were very fortunate to have Mr. Jin! His service during our 7-day trip to Guizhou was impeccable and deserves a five-star rating! 1. Excellent Skill, Safety First: Mr. Jin's driving skills are very skillful and steady, making us feel safe whether on busy city roads, complex mountain roads, or long-distance highways. He strictly adheres to traffic regulations and has a strong safety awareness, making the entire trip feel very safe. 2. Punctual and Reliable, Worry-Free Trip: Mr. Jin is very punctual and always arrives at the agreed location in advance, without any delays. The 7-day itinerary was tightly arranged, and he was very familiar with the road conditions, always finding the best routes, which greatly saved time and ensured that we completed all itineraries on schedule or even ahead of schedule. 3. Excellent Vehicle Condition, Comfortable and Clean: The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning was powerful, and the interior was spotless. Getting into the car every day felt very refreshing. The vehicle was well-maintained without any malfunctions, ensuring the smooth running of the trip. 4. Attentive and Thoughtful Service: Mr. Jin's service attitude was excellent, patient and meticulous, and he answered all questions. He proactively helped with luggage handling (especially large items, which was hard work!), and took good care of us when getting in and out of the car. During the journey, he flexibly adjusted rest stops according to our needs, and enthusiastically introduced local customs, and featured attractions/cuisine, making the journey more enriching and interesting. He respects passengers and communicates smoothly. 5. Reliable Character, Trustworthy: After spending five days together, I feel that Mr. Jin is sincere, down-to-earth, and responsible. He is not only a skilled driver but also a trustworthy travel companion. Mr. Jin's contribution was indispensable to the smooth, comfortable, and pleasant experience of this 7-day trip! His professionalism, reliability, and attentive service were key factors in the success of this trip. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a chartered car or long-distance driving service! A very pleasant trip! Thanks to @Travel Consultant Luby for patiently revising the itinerary again and again. This is our second time working together, and we are very satisfied. This time in Guizhou, we especially "like" our driver and guide @Itinerary Driver Wang Qing. Yes, "like," not just satisfied. He thoughtfully prepared hiking sticks for the elderly and water guns for the children, which were very useful. Every time we entered a scenic spot, he meticulously explained the precautions. When we came out of the scenic spot, he had already prepared a cool car, and after exploring the cave, he prepared hot corn. He also played with the children with firecrackers, and the children were extremely happy, saying that he was the best driver they had ever met. Took a very long time and multiple edits to the itinerary before I was finally happy with it (She was so patient about it and suggested me so many different routes). Then quoted for it. After I paid on the Klook app, they opened a WeChat group with many many agents there. When it was nearing, they ask for our information. Throughout the whole tour, there is one agent who sends me important information & next-day itinerary every night. Gave me information of each attraction I visited, tips and everything. Really very attentive. Also, big applaud for our driver 张世毅师傅 (he was basically half tour guide too) for bringing us around to eat nice local specialties. Took the time to introduce and explain to us lots of local cultures too. Tried to fulfill all our requests. Even recommended us more things to do and eat even after our tour ended. Car was really comfortable as well. Had a great time!

Our trip to Dali and Lijiang was a success, thanks to our driver and guide, Mr. Zhang! He's not only a skilled and smooth driver who knows the roads inside and out, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the journey, but also an excellent guide. The itinerary was well-planned and efficient, avoiding traffic jams and taking us to the highlights. His explanations were lively and interesting, providing insightful introductions to the Bai and Naxi cultures, as well as the local scenery, leaving us with a wealth of knowledge. Mr. Zhang is warm, friendly, and provides thoughtful and attentive service, always promptly meeting our needs and recommending authentic local cuisine. His professionalism and sincerity greatly enhanced our trip, and I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Yunnan!

Overall, the trip was quite good, and we enjoyed the relaxed pace we wanted. The arrangements were generally well-executed, and the unique caving experience was very interesting. The two nights at the luxury B&Bs were excellent, and the butler provided detailed reminders about what to prepare. Our driver, Liu Kai, was a man of few words but very kind, offering attentive service throughout the journey. One evening, our B&B ran out of food, and we were grateful he came back to pick us up for dinner. Now, I'd like to mention a few areas for improvement. First, when recommending B&Bs to guests, it's important to inspect them firsthand. One of the B&Bs we stayed at was truly terrible, completely different from what was advertised. The outlets didn't work, the bathtub had no hot water, the facilities were old, and there were flies everywhere. It was a stark contrast to the B&Bs on the days before and after! Also, some details need more attention. On our first night, the B&B ran out of food by 7 or 8 PM, and there were no restaurants within several kilometers. If the driver hadn't picked us up, we would have gone hungry! Such issues should be communicated in advance to allow for proper planning. We were told that insurance was purchased for the caving, but there should also have been outdoor activity insurance, which we weren't informed about. The guide had us sign for it right before entering the cave, leaving us quite confused. Additionally, the link provided for selecting caving photos was incorrect. If we hadn't clarified, our original hundred-plus photos would have been reduced to just 20. In summary, there were no major issues, but some minor details caused a bit of frustration. We hope for an even better experience next time. Overall, a 4-star rating.
