- [Colorful Haizi Lakes]: Jiuzhaigou has numerous colorful Haizi lakes, such as Five-Flower Lake, where the water, under the influence of sunlight, algae, travertine, and other factors, displays a kaleidoscope of colors, as if nature has spilled its palette. Sparking Lake gets its name from the sparkling reflections on the water's surface when sunlight shines on it, resembling flickering sparks. Long Lake is the highest, deepest, largest in area, and largest in capacity among Jiuzhaigou's Haizi lakes, with an "S" shape on its surface, and is a glacial dammed lake.
- [Unique Topography]: Jiuzhaigou is a typical karst landform, featuring calcified shoals, lakes, and waterfalls. Bonsai Shoal is the first shoal landscape encountered when entering Jiuzhaigou. On the shallow beach, willows, cypresses, poplars, pines, azaleas, and other plants grow in clusters. Around the tree trunks, travertine deposits form natural embankments slightly higher than the water's surface, resembling groups of bonsai.

This trip to Jiuzhaigou is really worthwhile! The scenery in the scenic area is incredibly beautiful. The lakes are colorful, and the waterfalls are majestic. The tour guide's service is especially thoughtful. They patiently explain the historical allusions of the scenic spots throughout the journey, plan the route reasonably to avoid the peak flow of people, and even help take photos and remind us of the precautions. With their professional and enthusiastic service, my travel experience has been completely enhanced!
Pls note there are additional expenses of CNY 240 per person not included in the itinerary. The tour leader will not be accompanying the group inside Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. The 2-day, 1-night itinerary is relatively rushed, and you can expect extensive walking at Huanglong. On the second day, after visiting Jiuzhaigou, we were asked to book Didi ride back to the hotel, collect our luggage, and then walk to a nearby hotel (5mins away) to board another bus to the high-speed train station. We arrived back at Chengdu East Station around 11:10 PM.
Good to know
- Huanglong and Jiuzhai are high-altitude areas. If you experience any discomfort, please contact your tour guide or driver immediately.
- Please be sure to bring your ID before departure, as the scenic area requires ID verification for entry.
- Regarding accommodation: By default, a twin room in a hotel will be arranged, with 2 adults per room. This itinerary does not allow for sharing rooms. If you are traveling as an odd number of adults, you must purchase one “single room supplement”; if you are traveling alone, a separate room will be arranged for you; if 3 adults are traveling, an additional “single room supplement” must be purchased, which will arrange two rooms for you; if you require a king-size bed, please make a note when placing your order.
- The Jiuzhaigou scenic area sightseeing bus is not included: 80 RMB/person in the off-season, 90 RMB/person in the peak season (peak season: April 1st - November 15th), which is mandatory.
- Without reducing the number of attractions, our agency reserves the right to adjust the order of visits based on time.
- We will not accommodate guests whose itinerary does not match the one provided by our agency or whose ID information is clearly inconsistent with the truth.
- Jiuzhaigou scenic area is at an altitude of 2500-3100 meters. Outdoor sightseeing time is long, with abundant sunshine and strong UV rays. Please prepare sunglasses, sun umbrellas, sunscreen, and other items.
- Please abide by the scenic area management regulations. Do not litter. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the scenic area, and violators will be fined 500 RMB or more.
- All attractions in Jiuzhaigou have pedestrian boardwalks, and there are sightseeing buses between different attractions. There is only one boardwalk and one road, so there is no danger of getting lost whether walking or taking the bus.
- Huanglong Scenic Area has a high altitude, with some sections reaching over 3500 meters. Please move slowly, avoid strenuous running, and prevent altitude sickness.
- The Jiuzhaigou route is for short trips, and vehicles have ample space for daily luggage. If you are on a long trip with large suitcases, please pay attention to the size and quantity of your luggage. For reference, the trunk space of common vehicles: a 7-seater vehicle can hold 5 24-inch suitcases, and a 9-seater vehicle can hold 7 24-inch suitcases. If you have a lot of luggage, please contact customer service in advance to adjust the vehicle!
