They can attend song and dance evenings of the Tibetan and Qiang people, enjoy their unique dance and music performances, such as the Nuo dance and Nanping folk songs, and also taste specialty foods like highland barley wine and butter tea, experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Tibetan and Qiang people.
- [Colorful Haizi Lakes]: Jiuzhaigou has numerous colorful Haizi lakes, such as Five-Flower Lake, where the water, under the influence of sunlight, algae, travertine, and other factors, displays a kaleidoscope of colors, as if nature has spilled its palette. Sparking Lake gets its name from the sparkling reflections on the water's surface when sunlight shines on it, resembling flickering sparks. Long Lake is the highest, deepest, largest in area, and largest in capacity among Jiuzhaigou's Haizi lakes, with an "S" shape on its surface, and is a glacial dammed lake.
- [Unique Topography]: Jiuzhaigou is a typical karst landform, featuring calcified shoals, lakes, and waterfalls. Bonsai Shoal is the first shoal landscape encountered when entering Jiuzhaigou. On the shallow beach, willows, cypresses, poplars, pines, azaleas, and other plants grow in clusters. Around the tree trunks, travertine deposits form natural embankments slightly higher than the water's surface, resembling groups of bonsai.

- ✨ Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area | Fairyland on Earth, a Wonderland of Calcareous Formations Here, relying on millions of years of geological evolution and nourished by melting snow, a series of layered, colorful calcareous pools, winding golden sand shoals, and clear, dynamic waterfalls and streams have formed. These are intertwined with primeval forests, alpine meadows, glacial snow peaks, and Tibetan and Qiang cultures. The pool water changes into thousands of colors such as blue, green, yellow, and white with light, season, and depth. The pool banks are like jade, and the water is like a mirror. Every step is a new scene, and every season is picturesque. It combines grandeur, elegance, magic, and tranquility, making it a world-class geological wonder bestowed by nature and a pure fairyland longed for by countless people.

The attraction spots are truly stunning, the Tibetan hotpot meal was very fulfilling, and also so so blessed to have free photography Tibetan service experience included! Totally a must since I’m there already. The hotel provided was top notch too! Tour guide Li Jing was very helpful. As the only international traveler of the group, she ensured that I’m well taken care of.🥹 Her explanation and communication was very clear and precise, and as a local herself, she frankly told us the tourist traps to avoid. Pls note there are additional expenses of CNY 240 per person not included in the itinerary. The tour leader will not be accompanying the group inside Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. The 2-day, 1-night itinerary is relatively rushed, and you can expect extensive walking at Huanglong. On the second day, after visiting Jiuzhaigou, we were asked to book Didi ride back to the hotel, collect our luggage, and then walk to a nearby hotel (5mins away) to board another bus to the high-speed train station. We arrived back at Chengdu East Station around 11:10 PM.
The scenery is super beautiful, the tour guide is very careful and well arranged, and the transportation is convenient
It was really worth the trip! I am very happy to participate in this trip. I would like to thank our team leader Li Jing for her considerate and warm arrangement of the two-day trip. She not only provided professional explanations, but also carefully reminded and helped us on the things we should pay attention to during hiking. She also took photos for us during the trip, leaving us with unforgettable memories.
The tour guide 阿秋 is helpful and gives very clear instructions. The driver is very good as well, steady and careful driving through the hilly road. The accomodations provided is better than our expectations. However, we were shock and disappointed with the Tibetan dinner provided as we are not expecting hotpot especially having to share with a group of strangers. And there were no proper seating arrangement. Our group of 6 were split up. Lastly, as we were the only group staying for 1 night only, we were not informed at all that the transportation back to railway station were public shuttle bus. The 2 hr ride was totally uncomfortable with and the driver were "reckless", not to mention that most of the seatbelts were not working. I do not recommend this tour.
The guide was attentive and considerate of foreigners. However, everyone was dissatisfied with the Tibetan food venue. The commemorative photos turned out great. The 4-star hotel was decent.
I am very grateful for the tour guide's careful arrangements. Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou are really beautiful, but two days may not be enough if you want to complete the entire tour!
Our tour guide was the absolute highlight, truly nice and responsible, which was fortunate given the rest of the experience. The "4-star" hotel was a delightful relic, boasting an aged charm that certainly wasn't four-star, while dinner presented a memorable, if unhygienic, communal hotpot event where nearly 12 tour mates each used their own chopsticks in the shared pot. As for the majestic Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou, the visits felt a tad rushed and were swarming with tourists, which, of course, isn't the tour's fault, just a reality check on the "serene nature escape" fantasy.
Good to know
- Huanglong and Jiuzhai are high-altitude areas. If you experience any discomfort, please contact your tour guide or driver immediately.
- Please be sure to bring your ID before departure, as the scenic area requires ID verification for entry.
- Regarding accommodation: By default, a twin room in a hotel will be arranged, with 2 adults per room. This itinerary does not allow for sharing rooms. If you are traveling as an odd number of adults, you must purchase one “single room supplement”; if you are traveling alone, a separate room will be arranged for you; if 3 adults are traveling, an additional “single room supplement” must be purchased, which will arrange two rooms for you; if you require a king-size bed, please make a note when placing your order.
- The Jiuzhaigou scenic area sightseeing bus is not included: 80 RMB/person in the off-season, 90 RMB/person in the peak season (peak season: April 1st - November 15th), which is mandatory.
- Without reducing the number of attractions, our agency reserves the right to adjust the order of visits based on time.
- We will not accommodate guests whose itinerary does not match the one provided by our agency or whose ID information is clearly inconsistent with the truth.
- Jiuzhaigou scenic area is at an altitude of 2500-3100 meters. Outdoor sightseeing time is long, with abundant sunshine and strong UV rays. Please prepare sunglasses, sun umbrellas, sunscreen, and other items.
- Please abide by the scenic area management regulations. Do not litter. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the scenic area, and violators will be fined 500 RMB or more.
- All attractions in Jiuzhaigou have pedestrian boardwalks, and there are sightseeing buses between different attractions. There is only one boardwalk and one road, so there is no danger of getting lost whether walking or taking the bus.
- Huanglong Scenic Area has a high altitude, with some sections reaching over 3500 meters. Please move slowly, avoid strenuous running, and prevent altitude sickness.
- The Jiuzhaigou route is for short trips, and vehicles have ample space for daily luggage. If you are on a long trip with large suitcases, please pay attention to the size and quantity of your luggage. For reference, the trunk space of common vehicles: a 7-seater vehicle can hold 5 24-inch suitcases, and a 9-seater vehicle can hold 7 24-inch suitcases. If you have a lot of luggage, please contact customer service in advance to adjust the vehicle!
