What to expect
The unique artistic program "Chào Show" honors Vietnamese music through 30 distinctive traditional instruments. It can be said to be the most complete and unusual collection of traditional instruments currently in the country, and the journey of collecting and recreating these instruments is a fascinating story in itself. With 12 musical chapters rich in the spirit of folk music, composed specifically for "Chào Show" by Trần Mạnh Hùng, one of Vietnam's leading composers, the program takes the audience on a journey.
Another unique aspect of "Chào Show" is the spectacular combination of music, visuals, and 9 delightful dishes from the distinctive cuisines of different regions, allowing viewers to simultaneously listen, watch, and taste the unique flavors of Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam. The dishes are served with a set of traditional dining ware, specially designed for the program.
The "Chào Show" stage is the first in Vietnam to invest in an Immersive Audio system, the latest sound technology available today. This technological solution allows listeners to experience 3D sound, ensuring that anyone seated in the large auditorium can enjoy the audio as if they were sitting in the center. The program is directed by Tất My Loan, and the "Chào" band is led by artist Cao Hồ Nga.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I didn’t expect to love Chào as much as I did! The musicians were mesmerising, telling beautiful stories through their music, traditional clothing, and song while showcasing Vietnam’s rich culture and heritage. The visual production was incredible, with giant screens covering three of the four walls of the theatre. The stunning backdrops changed with each performance and added so much colour and atmosphere to the experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of Vietnamese dishes on offer, plus they offered some kind of Viet alcoholic option, similar to port, which you could drink as much as you wanted. Overall, Chào was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam and easily one of my favourite experiences. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a unique and memorable cultural experience. 🇻🇳❤️
You can enjoy learning about the heart and culture of Vietnam! This was an experience where we could fully enjoy Vietnam's ancient folk music, traditional costumes, and food culture. It was a great opportunity to visit Ho Chi Minh City for the first time and discover delicious food and authentic Vietnamese culture. The performers' costumes were visually delightful, showcasing geopolitical and historical styles, and all the instruments were traditional and ancient. The food plates featured classic Vietnamese dishes that were very delicious and beautifully presented. Fruit wine, tea, and water were all free-flowing. From our very first day, this was an excellent night tour that gave us a taste of Vietnam's heart, performance, and energy. Seating: We were thrilled to have the closest, center seats! Set: All-inclusive. Show: Top-notch performers.
I love this tour. The tour guide Kheng is so good and knowledgeable. I love how they assist us and give details about cu chi tunnels. They lets us experience to go underground and feel things like we are a guerilla before. We also enjoy the whole trip and got free water and free postcard. Highly recommended!
I signed up without expecting too much, but it was absolutely wonderful. The entertainment allows you to experience Vietnamese culture and history. The meal was also quite elaborate, and I was able to enjoy a variety of Vietnamese dishes. I feel that this show is unique in that you can hear and directly feel various traditional musical instruments being played. This is a must-see for those who aren't on a whirlwind tour and have plenty of time. Note that the map shown by Klook is slightly off, and if you go there, you'll find a multi-tenant building. The venue is beautiful and full of hospitality, so use the address as a guide to find the performance location.
This was one of the high points of our trip - absolutely mesmerising. I only wish they would also flash the English translation of the lyrics of the songs being sung for better context to tourists who don’t know the language.
I visited Chao Show during my trip to Ho Chi Minh, and at first I didn't have high expectations. However, once the show started, the passion and performance of the performers, and the performance using traditional instruments, made it impossible to take my eyes off of it. There was a large screen in the back, which showed various contents related to traditional culture throughout the show. In particular, listening to traditional music of each region and eating traditional food of each region, divided into three parts: Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam, is something you can't experience anywhere else. The food is not too spicy, and it suits the taste of Koreans well (it feels like healthy food). The staff in charge of serving always smiled, so I felt that they were well-trained in service. Beyond simply watching the show, it was a time to feel Vietnamese culture with your whole body and be moved. Since the show is only held once a day, I highly recommend it, especially for those who are visiting Ho Chi Minh with their parents. (You have to make a reservation in advance on the website.) There is no parking lot, so take a taxi or Grab. Also, you must enter 5 minutes before the 7 PM show. If you arrive too early, use the coffee shop on the first floor (the bread is delicious). The inside is cool with air conditioning.
For those who like to experience and understand the Vietnam cultural traditional musical instruments and food from various regions and performance, it is the best I had experienced.
this was sooooo good!! defo worth the money!! the food was ok I didn’t like the alcohol too strong! but the music was incredible the instruments they use and every performer seemed to use every instrument aswell as singing i could listen to it all night!!
Everything was wonderful: the performance, the musicians' posture, and the excellent meal. It was a very meaningful experience. The unlimited refills on drinks and alcoholic beverages were also a nice touch. My only suggestion would be for the staff to address guests who are speaking loudly.
You can enjoy Vietnamese food, coffee, and Vietnamese liquor while listening to traditional Vietnamese music. However, it was somewhat disappointing that the music consisted only of unfamiliar sounds from beginning to end, with no consideration for foreigners. The food was good.
