Reviews
The south of Okinawa was the second of the two day tours we signed up with Klook in Okinawa. Our tour guide Momo was extremely friendly and also helped take individual photos so we capture wonderful memories of Okinawa. The one-day tour itinerary encapsulates the beauty of Okinawa with stops at a windy cape, the sunny beach, mysterious underground cave and Greek-like Senaga Island. An extremely relaxing day tour!
It was such a relaxing and chill tour! Thanks to Miss Huo, our tour guide, for giving us a day trip to the southern island. I highly recommend it to anyone or family who doesn’t want to drive around on their own.
Everything ran on time, and there was enough time to explore each stop. Overall, a convenient and hassle-free way to see South Okinawa in one day.
Nice leisure tour with sufficient time in each stop and finally we stoped at outlet to go back on our own..take bus 95 to airport to change monorail back to hotel
Okinawa Southern Day Tour: Tour guide Zhu was diligent and provided thoughtful service to everyone. The schedule was well-arranged, and we didn't feel rushed. The weather was great, and both the guide and driver worked hard. We are very satisfied with today's itinerary! Thank you.
The advantage of joining a one-day tour is that you can visit many famous attractions in one day. Our Chinese-speaking guide, Guide Huang, was very diligent in sharing and introducing each attraction! That day, it was a small, exclusive group of 14 people, and everyone was quick to gather, with no delays! The benefit of gathering and departing early is that we almost had the beaches entirely to ourselves for taking photos at Cape Chinen and Mibaru Beach. The kids were looking forward to the glass-bottom boat ride (at our own expense), and we were lucky enough to see sea turtles when we went out to sea!! Gyokusendo Cave is beautiful, and there was plenty of time to explore. The seafood at Itoman Fish Market was also delicious, a fresh and unforgettable taste! Thank you to Guide Huang for directly telling us the location of the Shiawase Pancake shop on Senaga Island, allowing me to rush there in the final moments to order takeout and enjoy! This one-day tour is highly recommended for tourists who are not driving. It's really great value for the money!!
If you're considering visiting Okinawa and don't plan to drive, an organized tour is a must. Public transportation in the region isn't as well-structured as in other places, which can make access to certain attractions limited. I joined a tour & found it to be a fantastic way to explore the island. Our guide was proficient in both Chinese and Japanese, which made communication easy for those who spoke either language. Although my Japanese is minimal, I felt comfortable participating and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For English speakers, I believe it's still possible to join the tour, as understanding the key logistics—like meeting points and return times—is what really matters. They do a good job of ensuring that everyone is up to speed, so you won't feel lost. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience Southern Okinawa without the hassle of navigating public transport. It's a great way to maximize your time and see the best the island has to offer!
[Advance text guidance and feedback/KakaoTalk, WhatsApp] 1) KakaoTalk You can give feedback via KakaoTalk in advance. I didn't receive a reply, but I kept it for emergencies. 2) WhatsApp Initially, I was invited to a group chat on WhatsApp. They also provide updates on the itinerary and any special notes during the trip. [Ultimate Value for Money / Okinawa Klook] Due to the characteristics of package or group tours and bus tour products, there is an advantage and feature of sharing a lot of information such as travel information, culture, and history. Guide Kim Hong (?) (a guide who can speak Chinese and Japanese) always guided us with a smile and in an engaging manner. Of course, my colleague and I didn't communicate well, so we used a translator. I think most of those who used the tour from Hong Kong and Taiwan would agree. Due to the characteristics of the second guide and local land operators (?), prices are relatively expensive or inflated (?) in some cases. Considering the prices in Okinawa and Japan, public transportation costs are expensive, but I was very satisfied because the cost of touring safely by bus all day like this was also relatively low. [Fast Schedule and Optimized Travel Route] When I took the tour, I always arrived earlier than other tour companies for meals and tours, so I didn't have a busy and hectic schedule. In fact, when I first arrived at Chinen Cape, our tour company arrived the fastest, so we were picked up at a location close to the parking lot. In the case of Mibaru Beach, the parking lot was paid, so the bus parked close to the meeting place, except for the part where the bus came when meeting (when boarding the bus) after parking elsewhere, which was good. Because they coordinated the schedule well, they allocated meal times well with an optimized route and tour schedule.
Transport, tickets, and itinerary are all handled. Good if you don’t rent a car in Okinawa. Saves time on planning routes/logistics. Friendly and helpful guide.
We participated in this one-day tour of Southern Okinawa, visiting Cape Chinen, Hyakuna Beach, Okinawa World + Gyokusendo Cave, Itoman Fish Market, and Senaga Island. The itinerary was very well-planned, with ample time at each attraction. The customer service was attentive; a WhatsApp group was created the day before departure to communicate and provide detailed information about the meeting point and important notes. Special thanks to our guide and driver, EK, who was very professional and responsible, arriving early at the meeting point on the day of the tour. He provided detailed explanations at each attraction, gave friendly reminders about the meeting time before we disembarked, and even proactively pointed out the best photo spots and helped everyone take group photos. His attitude was very friendly. Overall, we were very satisfied with this trip!
