Ninh Binh Bai Dinh Pagoda Night Cultural Tour

We really enjoyed our evening with Thai. We got to see the temples lit up at night and to learn about Buddism. We were the only people on the tour and it was amazing to be able to ask questions and get such clear answers. We really got something special out of the experience. Highly recommended as a way to see the temples that is after hours and quiet.

Our tour guide Thai was amazing!🤣💯 His knowledge about the temple, religion and place was vast. He was kind and patient and made the tour extremely eye opening and healing. He was accommodating to us and answered all our questions. Thé your with others was really fun and we got to interact with new friends. Really worth giving this place a visit at night, it is truly stunning! The lantern release was truly memorable and beautiful. ✨🥰 A must visit if you come Ninh Binh! 💕

Extremely fun and beautiful tour led by Thuy! Thuy was very insightful and knowledgeable about Buddhism and the significance of the pagoda and the temples. She led us in a private tour through each point, explaining as she went along. She gave us time to take photos and also taught us the correct history and correct way to worship which I really respected. Seeing the pagoda and temples at night is beautiful and a unique experience. It is serene, calming and truly breathtaking. I highly reccomend this tour for a one of a kind experience in Ninh Binh. After the visit to the pagoda we were taken back to Bai Dinh Spa where we were treated to biscuits, jasmine tea and a warm herbal foot bath with lemongrass, ginger and herbs. Thuy is truly thoughtful and a respectful guide. Definitely worth in terms of value for money, time and experience!

Visiting Bai Dinh Pagoda at night was a highlight of our Vietnam trip and a memory we’ll always treasure. If you're in Vietnam, I highly recommend staying in Ninh Binh for at least one or two nights to fully experience its peaceful beauty. We were lucky to explore the pagoda after the crowds had gone, allowing us to appreciate its grandeur in complete tranquility. The quiet, almost sacred atmosphere let us take in the stunning architecture without the usual daytime rush. A light drizzle and mist added a magical touch to the evening, giving the complex a mysterious, ethereal feel. The soft lighting reflected off the wet ground, highlighting the intricate details of the buildings and creating a unique ambiance. Our guide, Thuy, truly enhanced the experience. She shared fascinating insights into the pagoda’s history, helping us appreciate its statues, architecture, and Buddhist traditions. Thuy also went out of her way to help us capture the moment by taking photos and videos, ensuring we had lasting memories. She made sure we were comfortable and informed throughout the tour. To cap off the tour, we enjoyed a relaxing foot spa along with delicious local snacks and tea — the perfect way to unwind after our walk around the pagoda complex. Amazing experience seeing Bai Dinh Pagoda at night. I have been to the Pagoda during the day before but nothing could match the beauty and serenity of visiting after dark. Crowd numbers are way down on what you would normally see during the day. The night lights bring a whole new dimension to this special place. Having the tour guide and electric car to transport you around is a huge bonus and stops any fatigue issues from having to walk around. I highly recommend this tour as it is the best value for money. To top it off you are welcomed back at the Bai Dinh Gardens Resort to a light snack and warm tea. Do yourself a favour if staying at Bai Dinh Gardens Resort, you won't be disappointed.

a great tour to see to this temple complex in quiet and through a different lens. Our tour guide was great and incredibly generous with his time, especially with our kids. Beautiful place when lit up and so tranquil with hardly another person there. Great experience.

I have not been here in the day but I’d imagine the night tour is much better which was a great experience. we took our 3 kids who also enjoyed walking around at night. it’s a great experience to see all the temples lit up with everything closed is much more intimate.

I deliberated quite a bit, but going was absolutely the right decision! After traveling from Hanoi by train and checking into the Ninh Binh hotel, it was already past 4:00 PM. There were no tours available at that time, and a river cruise would have been difficult. So, a tour from around 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM was the perfect choice to make the most of our time. The evening was cool, and getting from the entrance to the main area by electric cart was easy. The vast Buddhist complex, while not very old, allowed us to experience the deep faith of the Vietnamese people. Our guide, Thai, was incredibly kind and thoroughly explained Buddhism and Ninh Binh. If you're arriving in Ninh Binh in the afternoon, this tour is highly recommended. Please note, the tour description mentioned 'light refreshments,' but it was more like snacks. We only had peanut brittle and tea at the last temple, and a foot bath with herbal tea and cookies at the meeting point. You'll definitely get hungry, so I recommend eating dinner early or having a late dinner in town after the tour. I had a late dinner in Tam Coc town. Most places are open late, so there's no need to worry about that.

A very meaningful experience and a great way to start our stay in Ninh Binh. Had Thai as our guide and he was so helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and also made sure we were able to get a ride home. Just a really wonderful person!! The tour itself was just amazing! Definitely a meaningful and enlightening experience, it is definitely one of those things you wish you could experience for the first time again. Do not miss out on this in Ninh Binh! It is worth all your time and money.

We had the pleasure of having Twee as our guide for the night tour of Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh and she was absolutely wonderful. From the start, Twee was caring, genuine, and incredibly accommodating, making sure we were comfortable and engaged throughout the experience. Her deep knowledge of Buddhism and Vietnamese culture truly enriched the tour. We learned so much and gained a new appreciation for the spiritual significance of Bai Dinh. What really stood out was how she went the extra mile for us. After the tour ended late at night, she helped us find a food delivery service so we wouldn’t go to bed hungry, a small gesture that spoke volumes about her thoughtfulness and dedication. Twee made our night in Ninh Binh truly memorable. Highly recommend her if you're ever in the area!
