Cologne Day Tour from Amsterdam

Mr Jeorge was an amazing tour guide – knowledgeable, very friendly, and even talented in taking photos. The tour from the Netherlands to Germany was truly worth it, such a beautiful place to visit. Highly recommended! Amigo Tours has been excellent so far, and three of my tours have been with them already.

Pity, the package mentions Cologne AND Antwerp but due to last minute changes we only went to Cologne - hope they can amend this to prevent further misunderstandings. We only went to a small part where the cathedral is, so the itinerary was very minimal. The tour guide on the otherhand was very knowledgeable and nice.

We arrived at the meeting point at 7:30 AM that day and waited until 8:00 AM, but didn't see the Aimgo Travel tour guide or bus! I contacted customer service at 7:59 AM and connected at 8:02 AM. The first thing they did was question whether we were late and asked us to provide proof that we arrived on time. I asked customer service if they could provide proof that the tour was actually happening. She replied that she wasn't questioning us or unwilling to help us, but just needed to confirm that we really arrived on time, and that they couldn't contact the local travel agency at the moment. I provided them with photos of the pier where we took sunrise pictures (thankfully, I took photos of the pier). She replied that she would get back to me within 24 hours and told me that I didn't need to stay online and wait for them. After an hour, I inquired again and spoke to a customer service representative with a better attitude, who told me that I needed to wait 2 days to know the result. After just one hour, the waiting time for a reply changed from 1 day to 2 days. The efficiency is astonishing. I mentioned that the tour guides from other travel agencies that day were very helpful and confirmed that they didn't see any Aimgo tour guides or buses and that they saw that Amigo had canceled today's Coron tour. I questioned why Klook needed so long to confirm when other local tour guides could confirm the information immediately? I reiterate that we had not received any cancellation notices or changes to the meeting location beforehand. I have used Klook many times to buy tours (I am already a Gold member). This is the first time I have encountered such a problem, which makes me a little worried about Klook, because they are quick to take your money, but the refund speed is unbelievably slow and their handling of the situation is very poor! I suggest everyone arrive at the meeting point early and take photos to collect evidence, in case problems arise and you are questioned by Klook. My trip was ruined, and I also had to deal with their attitude, which made me feel even worse. (I don't even want to give it one star, but you have to give one star to leave a review)
