Bergen Mostraumen Fjord Half-Day Cruise

We arrived at the Bergen cruise terminal on May 30th by cruise ship, and I booked this online at the last minute on May 27th... 👍👍👍 It's a very convenient 20-25 minute walk from the cruise terminal. 👍 We took a very stable yacht cruise, which was quite comfortable. Hot drinks and snacks were available for purchase on board, and you could pay by card or in Euros. There was also an English guided commentary. 👍 It's a shame it was foggy; otherwise, the scenery along the way would have been even more beautiful... 👍 The cruise ship is much larger, and sailing through Sognefjord is a different experience. 👍 At just over 2000 NTD (71 Euros), it's excellent value for money and highly recommended! 👍 The round trip was about 3.5 hours. Since our cruise ship had a return time limit, the 9:00 AM departure time was perfect for our needs. After disembarking at 12:30 PM, we still had time to dine and sightsee in the city. Great boat trip. The boat has indoor and outdoor space for all weather conditions/temperatures. It also has two toilets and a small kiosk with drinks/snacks. Beautiful scenery.

The activity is quite nice that the ship is comfortable and you can take a lot of photos of the natural landscape. The choice of time is good that we can start the trip with no rush at 10:30. But not much explanation of the landscape cause it is just a recording but not a human curation tour

Visiting the Mostra Umenfjord in Bergen allowed me to see the waterfalls between the mountains and the amazing small villages along the coast, which seemed to be secluded in the mountains and isolated from the world. The thick fog between the mountains adds a bit of mystery.

The voyage takes about four hours, starting from the port in the center of Bergen and returning to the town of Mo, without stopping in between. The seats in the cabin are quite comfortable, but if you want to sit by the window, you need to board the ship earlier. The upper deck offers a panoramic view of the scenery, but you must pay attention to the weather and bring warm or sun-proof clothing. There is a canteen on the ship, selling snacks, drinks, coffee, etc. The sea in the fjord is relatively stable, but there will still be a sense of shaking when the wind is strong. People who are prone to seasickness can take some seasickness medicine first.

Absolutely loved it, it's amazing! This trip is totally worth it, especially with the comfortable breeze! Saw some incredible views I've never seen before, really enjoyed it 🥹🥹🥹

Be sure to attend! It doesn't matter if you don't understand the English explanation. Just use your eyes to see the whole process. It is recommended to go in summer, otherwise the sea breeze is really cold. Pay special attention to the waiting port, which may change sometimes. It is recommended to ask more locals

The scenery in the fjord behind is beautiful! There are also some waterfalls where you can take photos. The meeting point is easy to find, so if you want to take a boat trip and enjoy the scenery, you should consider this tour.
