Reviews
niushoushan is really pretty and amazing even if you are not religious. wish we could spend more time in the area though. Our tour guide, Deng Dao, is engaging and informative, also make sure that the coordination with the driver and attractions are ok.
Our family had an amazing experience with our tour guide 邓导! Throughout the tour, he provided a wealth of background information and insightful knowledge about every place we visited. It made each stop so much more meaningful and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the way he explained the history and stories behind the sites in such a clear, engaging, and passionate manner. On top of that, 邓导 was friendly, patient, and always ready to answer our questions. The entire tour felt well-organised and the itinerary was thoughtfully paced with many toilet breaks in between. We learned so much and had a wonderful time thanks to his dedication and professionalism. I highly recommend this tour (and our guide 邓导 if you are lucky!) to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and exceptional guide for your visit to Nanjing!
The guided tours at DaBaoEn temple and NiuShouShan were excellent. Both locations were breathtaking and the explanation by the guides just gave the entire experience more meaning.
Great and wonderful trip! our tour guide@ Xiao Gao is a very patient person and he always pay attention to our group member’s safety. explanation of the sight seeing place with detailed information.
The tour guide explained things very thoroughly, making it more efficient to absorb the history compared to buying tickets on your own. The staff inside the Grand Bao'en Temple (not our tour guide) are very good at promoting the purchase of cinnabar products. Do not, under any circumstances, be easily persuaded. They range from 200-10000 RMB. Remember to guard your wallets. You need strong legs for Niushoushan! After a complete tour, it's perfect to go to the Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) for dinner. Unfortunately, museums are closed on Mondays! We didn't go to the Presidential Palace (the tour guide will refund the money if you don't go, so don't worry). Our tour guide was Zhao Yan, a local from Nanjing.
Great value for money! It's half the price of buying tickets separately. The tour guide is very patient and always pays attention to the group members' condition and safety. Another point is that he speaks clearly and easily understood!
The 2 locations were fantastic.
The tour was amazing. The tour guide, Fang..she really nice. She explained everything very detail. I will come back to Nanjing for another tour, love Nanjing.
Very detailed guidance by 赵导。The whole tour was informative and fun. The guide gave us time to take pictures and toilet breaks. Everything was arranged at a comfortable pace. Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there will be a lot of walking.
I had a wonderful experience on the One-Day Tour to Niushou Mountain and the Presidential Palace in Nanjing. Visiting Niushou Mountain was breathtaking, and exploring the Presidential Palace gave me a deeper understanding of the city’s rich history. Walking through the Fuzimiao Residential District and seeing the Qinhuai River added even more cultural depth to the day. What truly stood out was our guide, 许捷 . As the only foreigner in the group, he went out of his way to translate explanations and ensure I fully understood the history and significance of each site. I felt completely included and welcomed throughout the tour. His effort and passion made this experience far more meaningful than just sightseeing. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an authentic and insightful introduction to Nanjing.
Good to know
- The scenic area has implemented real-name reservation and ticket purchase. It is very popular during the peak season. If the quota is full, it will be adjusted to the [Nanjing City Museum] or [Jiangning Imperial Silk Manufacturing Museum] without any fee changes. If it is closed on Monday, the visit will be changed to [Yuhuatai Scenic Area], and a ticket refund of 28 yuan/person will be issued. Thank you for your understanding.
- Due to the popularity of the peak tourist season, the round-trip cost of the Niushoushan battery car is at your own expense. Please understand if there is a long queue time.
