My teacher is super kind and professional 😍 I made a large plate and an incense burner with 2 kilograms of clay! It was super fun and interesting to make pottery on the wheel for the first time 😍 I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it! The teacher will also help take photos and videos!
We had such a chill time at the pottery workshop. It's one of the favorite activities we have done here in Bali. Putra was patient and very knowledgeable. Just note, it takes a few days for your pottery to get baked and dry. So, do this at the beginning of your trip if ever. Also, you have to pick it up from the studio. I'm not sure if it can be delivered.
A fab experience making hand-made and on the wheel pottery! Putra was a great teacher!! Reccomended.
I came here expecting a lot, but honestly, the experience was just *meh* — overall, pretty disappointing. First off, it took me 20 minutes to find the place after it said "you are here" with my Grab driver (and I had to pay extra because of the delay). They *really* need to put up a sign — I’m sure I’m not the only one who got lost trying to get there. The Man was helpful, but also distracted and doing his own thing. Once I arrived, there were only four colors to choose from, which felt very limited. I wish they had more variety. The experience itself felt pretty average — nothing special or memorable. I received my pottery a week later, which might not work for travelers on a tight schedule. They sent it via Grab, but I wasn’t told I’d have to pay for the delivery — that should be made clear upfront. Luckily I had cash on me but had to give a large amount as the driver had no change (another loss of money) When I finally got my pottery, it looked decent, but the bottom wasn’t finished — it was still chalky and rough to the touch. For the price I paid, I expected something more polished, more impressive. Would I go back if I returned to Ubud? Honestly, no. It’s not terrible, but for the cost, I didn’t want “not bad” — I wanted something great.
