We were sent the wrong meeting timing, which we understood is a constant occurrence from Klooks end. Would have been nice to receive some form of communication a couple of days before the tour. We were otherwise had to just hope somebody will show up at one point. Other than that, the tour was fun and it went well! Not all dogs were huskies so that’s something to take note.

This safari tour was one of the most disappointing experiences of our entire trip, and it was even more regrettable because it happened during our honeymoon. We planned our itinerary based on the detailed Korean-language page before booking, which only stated to ‘arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time.’ The crucial information that this was a group tour and that there was a much earlier mandatory meeting time, and that missing it would make the experience impossible, was not clearly emphasized. The actual meeting time of 12:40 PM was only noted in small print at the bottom of an email sent months ago, and there were no reminders the day before or on the day of the tour. Since the meeting time for another aurora tour we participated in the day before was clearly re-communicated, it was natural to expect a similar notification for this tour. After arriving on-site, we were informed that the experience had already ended, and the operator repeatedly stated that it was 100% the customer's fault and that a refund was not possible. There was no review of the lack of guidance or possibility of confusion, nor any expression of regret. Clear and repetitive guidance is essential for experiences that are time-sensitive. This tour was supposed to be the highlight of our honeymoon, but it remains our most disappointing memory. We urge future users to confirm directly with the operator multiple times and call for communication improvements from Safartica.
