Day Tour to Lucerne and Engelberg Alpine Village

The tour was great! Our group originally didn’t avail the Mt. Titlis excursion but our tour guide still worked things out for us to be able to join. Wouldn’t miss this if ever you will visit Switzerland. Truly, breathtaking experience.

I wouldn’t recommend this tour as the description is not accurate. We found out on the morning of our tour that this is basically the Mt Titlus tour which is never mentioned anywhere in the description. They said we could upgrade our trip to include Mt.Titlis that morning, we weren’t prepared for that, we didn’t have our jackets. We got one hour in Lucerne not guided, and we were dropped off in Engelberg to explore on our own. We didn’t mind exploring the town on our own, the guide kept mentioning about the monastery, which is closed. The description also mentions about a show dairy and learning about cheese making process, which we couldn’t find anywhere. When we asked, we were told that it might be with the monastery which is closed. Tal museum was a good one to visit. I wouldn’t recommend this trip unless you just want to walk around in Engelberg for 3 hours while the rest of the group goes to Mt.Titlis. I wished to spend some more time in Lucern, one hour isn’t enough to see this charming town.

It just saves the traffic and the itinerary is not very attractive. Don’t expect too much. The cheese shop is also closed. If you have other options, don’t choose this itinerary.

The moment you get off at Engelberg, you must move according to the purpose you want. There was no guide at all, and you can see that we were just provided with transportation.

This itinerary can be described as having fun and forgetting to return. Our family went to play real ice. It was the first time for the children to play, and it was so fun that they didn't want to leave. It is also worthwhile to take a horse-drawn carriage to explore the surrounding scenery.

The guide and driver are efficient and very friendly, however this tour is mainly just transportation. You are left to walk on your own in both places.

Apart from the beautiful views of the mountains, nothing much

Actually if you have join the Jungfrajoch tour, you need not to join this tour as Jungfrajoch has already more or less cover this areas which is nothing much. Tour leader was OK and informative. Journey was pleasant.

Nothing much to do and see. Only entertainment we got was from the skiing event that was taking place. But to see it you need to pay about CHF40 per person which was not ideal as time was limited. Going to Mount Titles is better.

Nice tour. Love the stunning view of Lucerne n Engelberg. The tourguide is very professional.
