Ho Chi Minh - Phan Thiet/Mui Ne Bus By MexBus

This was one of my best travelling experiences as the seats were exceptionally comfortable. The bus picked us up at the hotel in Mui Ne very punctually. The facilities on the bus were excellent. Steady Wi-fi was provided throughout the whole ride. There was a 15-min break during the 4-hour journey. A pre-recorded English announcement was made and the departure time was shown clearly near the door. Surprisingly, the washroom at the stop was very clean. Before entering the city, we were asked to get on a smaller coach which was also clean, but less comfortable. However, we also found it okay as the traveling time was quite short, like only half an hour.

Very good organization at every stage. You could say it's "door-to-door" delivery because if your hotel is in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, a Grab taxi will be arranged from your hotel to the starting point. The bus is super-modern, comfortable, and the entertainment system has a "gesture control" function. Where else will you find that on transport? Convenient 15-minute stop along the way. The whole trip flew by and I really enjoyed everything. Perhaps this is the best bus route from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne in terms of price and quality. I recommend it. (I also booked the return trip on Klook with the same carrier). Thanks to the organizers of this route!

I made a reservation the day before and was able to ride. They picked me up at the hotel at 6:30am on the day and took me to the nearby office. I got on the bus at 7am and took about 30 minutes to a gas station in the suburbs. I changed cars at 7:30am and arrived at Mui Ne at 10am without any breaks. There were 5 passengers including me. The car was equipped with blankets, water and towels. You can also watch YouTube on the touch screen monitor at the front. Thanks to that, we got to Mui Ne in no time. It wasn't a sleeper, but the seats were spacious and enough for the actual 2 hours and 30 minutes. The only drawback is that when you make a reservation on Klook, you need to enter your phone number for WhatsApp. I didn't have the app so I managed to communicate by SMS, but I communicated with them when I was picked up in front of the hotel on the day, so if you make a reservation, it might be easier to install WhatsApp and create an account.

When meeting in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, there was confusion about the time, as the departure was at 2:00 PM, but the shuttle from downtown left at 1:20 PM, which was confusing. However, thanks to the friendly staff, I arrived safely and comfortably in Mui Ne, and they also kept my lost item safe and I found it the next day. The service is better than airline in-flight service.

The bus driver is kind and the bus is really good 👍🏻👍🏻 I took a buggy from the hotel to the office~~ From the office, I took a slow bus for thirty to forty minutes and transferred… .. I like that they dropped me off in front of the hotel~ There are cheaper places~ But it's really good that they pick me up in front of the hotel~

The company is run by a Japanese who personally sent us off and welcomed us back when we returned to HCM, such a thoughtful touch. The bus was very clean and we had a really good nap during the ride. The WiFi was fast and the entertainment system had YouTube so I managed to catch a few videos along the way. You can really see the Japanese attention to detail, from the clear instructions to the overall service. The driver was always so smiley, which made me feel safe and at ease throughout the long ride. I’m really glad I chose MexBus!

the best bus transfer that i’ve experienced so far 🙌🏻 definitely worth it, the bus is clean, the seats are comfy and can be reclined, there is free water, blanket, and wifi. Their waiting area is also convenient ❤️

Would 100% recommend Mexbus to anyone travelling to and from Ho Chi Minh and Phan Thiet/Mui Ne! Staff were friendly and accommodating and easily reachable through whatsapp for foreigners with no Vietnam mobile number. Bus ride was clean, comfortable and smooth, total travel time only took around 3 hours with 1 15min reststop and 1 bus transfer. Chairs were in pristine condition with multiple recliner functions and screens provided to watch shows/connect your phone to for maximum comfortability! Bus will still run even if the bus is not fully booked, my friend and I had the whole bus to ourselves from Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh. Grab transfer was also easily organisable by Mexbus team from their headquarters to our hotel in District 1 HCM with no extra costs. For this price, we have 0 complaints!

I was worried because there weren't many Korean reviews, but don't worry and take it! However, as a tip, if you sign up for WhatsApp in advance and enter your WhatsApp ID when paying, you can receive separate text message instructions. If your accommodation is in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City (and the meeting point is close), they will provide a pick-up service via Grab. The bus is more like a premium bus than a sleeper bus, but it is comfortable and nice to travel to and from Mui Ne. Above all, it is brand new. Also, the staff are friendly. Anyway, highly recommended!
