experience: Our family of four enjoyed the beautiful botanical gardens. The kids had fun feeding all the animals including the capybaras, tortoises, guinea pigs and rabbits. The animal food is not free so make sure to bring plenty of 100 yen coins to purchase feeding food. Also, it is very sunny so I would recommend sun protection like hats and sun shade umbrella and sunscreen.
We arrived at around 7.15 pm for the night illumination only. We purchased our tickets via Klook, and redemption at the ticketing office was quick and easy. The park was relatively quiet at night, which made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. Wild ducks could be seen walking freely around the park, adding to the charm. There were many interesting light installations throughout the gardens. One of the highlights for us was the lotus pond, where the lighting moved in rhythm with the music, creating a very beautiful and immersive experience. We spent about one hour walking through the park and taking everything in. Parking is free, which is an added convenience. Overall, it is definitely a place worth visiting if you have extra time in your itinerary, especially for the night illumination experience.
I bought a one-day ticket. During the day, you can encounter botanical garden-like scenery such as rows of bougainvillea and palm trees, and there are also animals, so it was a place that families can enjoy. At night, there were various illuminations in the large garden, so it was fun in many ways. You can re-enter the garden, so first go in the morning, then have lunch or do other sightseeing, and then come back after sunset. Tickets are purchased in advance and you have a QR code, but you have to line up in the same place as the people who buy tickets, so it's not a smooth entrance. When re-entering the garden, you just have to show the sticker you received, so you don't have to line up.
The lights are so beautiful at night. Although it is inconvenient and expensive to take public transportation and taxis because I don’t drive, the lights are so beautiful that I think it is totally worth a special trip. If you drive yourself, it will be more convenient. It is a very suitable attraction for couples.
You can buy grass to feed the animals yourself and get up close to the capybaras. The kids were very happy.
The atmosphere created by the lights is very romantic. Although the location is in the suburbs and transportation is a bit inconvenient, it is still worth a visit. The park's traffic flow is well planned, and you can have a lot of fun along the way as long as you follow the indicators!
Anyone in Okinawa must see this. Especially during special times of the year, like the current Christmas special! Fascinating light shows, fireworks, and laser show.
The ticket exchange is convenient, the lights at night are beautiful, there are few people on weekdays, and you can take as many photos as you want. The night botanical garden opposite is amazing, with six levels of design. You will exclaim while exploring.
