[Nha Trang Xua Restaurant] Vietnamese Buffet Dining Experience

So worth it! 10/10/10. If you're in Nha Trang and want to eat unlimited shrimp, oysters, and other seafood, this is the place to go. It's not too far from the city center and offers a local atmosphere. The restaurant itself is designed with photo opportunities showcasing local Vietnamese culture. There's a wide variety of delicious local dishes. Staff are constantly clearing tables, and you can get food until about 8:30 PM. Best of all, with the buffet, you also get to watch a theatrical show. The show is spectacular, and the performers put in so much effort; you'll want to tip them extra! The only downside is that it can get a bit chaotic if many tour groups arrive, but the restaurant will still arrange a table for you in a nice spot.

We arrived around 5:00 PM, which was perfect timing. We took photos while waiting for the buffet, which started at 6:00 PM and ran until 9:00 PM. We booked through Klook, and our table was already reserved. Even if you have multiple separate bookings, you can request to be seated at the same table. The food was good, the shrimp was fresh, and there was a show.

Lots of authentic vietnamese food to choose from. Grill your own seafood or have it grilled for you. Specially liked the balut (boiled fertilized duck egg) served with special sauce and local leafy vegetables.

This is a very picturesque place, even in the evening—a true Vietnamese village! There's a spacious area with canopies where tables are set up with ready-made dishes and raw ingredients. Small, round grills are placed directly on the tables. There are many salads, several different soups, and women with woven baskets and components for assembling Vietnamese Pho Bo soup, which is made from broth and other ingredients. The menu primarily features seafood (many types of shellfish, oysters, shrimp, mussels, crabs), a couple of chicken dishes, and grilled fish. There are national desserts made from sticky rice and milk, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, and fruits. For entertainment, there are simple performances by artists in national costumes, but they are short, lasting about 15-20 minutes, with two sets between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. In a separate corner, children are entertained in Vietnamese from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Overall, it's very beautiful, but the food could have been better.

Gorgeous experience, nice view nice food. Every corner is pictureable, you can try plenty of old Vietnamese portions.

You absolutely MUST try the dinner buffet! I went alone, but I think parents and children alike would love it. 👍 I would have really regretted it if I hadn't gone. The Vietnamese Folk Village + dinner buffet 👍 The show was also very fun and impressive (great value for money 👍). There were so many people, except for Koreans. It's a shame that Koreans don't seem to know about this place.

Everything about this buffet restaurant was perfect except for the young employee in a black jacket and jeans in the crab-boiling area. When I asked if there were any more crayfish, they didn't answer, just gave me a nasty look and gestured for me to move out of the way, which was ridiculous. The food was delicious, the show was extremely, extremely, extremely interesting and fun, and the other staff members were all smiles and very kind. After finishing, I didn't regret spending the money at all. It was a great buffet restaurant.

All staff members were smiling and ready to serve. There was a wide variety of food available. We had to grill our own seafood, such as shrimp and oysters. Fruit juice drinks were included in the package, with the exception of beer. I was also very impressed with the show.

Overall for the price, the experience was nice. The restaurant itself with its waterlily pond, little huts with different traditional crafts like mat weaving, bamboo hats, incense sticks was very charming and for people who like to take pictures, a great spot. The staff was unfortunately not very friendly, and seemed annoyed when one asked something. The food was average. There is a wide variety of vietnamese dishes, however a lot of it tasted just average and the seafood for example could have been better prepared. For example, I prefer prawn to be deveined and peeled, and that was not the case. For me the highlight was the beauty of the place and the very nicely put together show that takes place at 19:00 pm. Also, careful when you book over klook. They offer days in which the Restaurant doesn't offer Buffet. So do your research before booking.

It's a nice place to go hang out and try different foods. Nothing especially good about the food, but no complaints either. The other activities there were quite fun to engage in too. Try to come a bit earlier to see the other activities before dinner time. I heard that the buffet is not available on certain days. I went in on a Sunday night and there was no issues then.
