The food quality is great and value wise - expensive but worth it. I was there early and got my table ticket before crowd started. When they did open, my lobster tail was waiting at my table which was a nice surprise. If you’re a buffet veteran you know you just go hard and order the good stuff, stay away from carbs. There are multiple stations where they take your order for items and then deliver to your table. I had so many oysters, sashimi while waiting for food to be delivered I had forgotten what I had ordered. As time passes, the queues get shorter and you go back to order more so no need to wait in lines at the beginning of the 2hr period - it is a luxury experience. I was getting full after an hour so last hour was left to try desserts and gather my strength. A few things to note - they don’t have wifi, no alcoholic drinks, tea/coffee are average via machines and also bathrooms are outside (guess they want you to stay focused on the food).
I recently visited COPPER Beyond Buffet, and my first impression was how thoughtfully designed the decor was. It has a retro restaurant vibe with an industrial touch. The entrance and photo spots are quite photogenic, and the dining atmosphere was pleasant. Interestingly, there weren't many Hong Kongers there that day. Regarding the food, the sashimi and seafood sections were reliable. The tuna and scallops were sliced to a perfect thickness, fresh and sweet. The salmon with sea grapes and roe dish was savory and refreshing. I found the desserts surprisingly good. The lava cake had a rich chocolate flavor, and the accompanying jam provided a nice tart balance. The panna cotta and cream desserts were smooth, though a bit on the sweet side. For drinks, they offered some special fruit juices that were well-chilled and refreshing, along with traditional Thai milk tea, which was excellent. Overall, the quality was consistent. The wide selection, beautiful presentation, and quick replenishment of dishes were definite pluses, and almost everything tasted good. But the biggest surprise was the mushroom soup with croissant – it was truly outstanding. If you want to enjoy both Japanese cuisine and desserts all at once, don't miss this place. The price isn't cheap for Thailand, and without a discount, it might feel a bit pricey.
The staff were warm, attentive and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The seafood dishes were good and the desserts were definitely the standout for me. My only feedback would be on the timing of the food service. Most of the dishes arrived at once, so by the time we got around to some of them, they had already gone cold. While I understand the intention was probably to ensure we received everything promptly, a more staggered approach would have made the meal much more enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with great service. With a little more attention to the pacing of the dishes, it could be even better.
Copper Buffet, the internet's hottest buffet spot! Following online recommendations, we arrived about 20 minutes early, and the mall was already packed, but registration was quick. After registering, there's seating nearby to relax and wait, and staff will invite guests to line up for entry when it's almost time. The restaurant is large, but the seating is spacious. We had pre-selected the lobster set, so we each ordered different ones, and both were delicious. The restaurant has a lot of self-serve food, but I think the dishes ordered from the menu are more outstanding. I hadn't even tried all the ordered dishes once, and I was already full, a very satisfying meal!
Incredible!!! Each plate we had is so delicious at high-standard, dont even mention Copper is definitely more than a “buffet” . Next time we will try lunch see if same like dinner:)
taste good, wide range of choices, people get in in well order. not necessarily to place order immediately get in at the start time as there is a long queue waiting. could take different dishes to enjoy first then place order afterwards. recommend the wagyu beef boat noodle l, Japanese sashimi, bbq rib, truffle soup with croissant. the Korean squid and prawn worth for a try. some orders missed did not come to my table. staff are very efficient and friendly.
Experience: Copper's owner is really too smart. Hong Kong's buffets are all about taking as much as you can, but you often can't finish it, which is a waste. With Hong Kong's all-you-can-eat buffets, you just keep checking things off the list, then you can't finish it, and it's another waste. Copper is a semi-buffet ordering system instead of a buffet. Except for the freshly shucked oysters, pre-made black truffle cream soup, Wagyu boat noodles, etc., everything else you have to order yourself. The key is that you won't order all 100 items just to try them. Usually, you'll focus on ordering what the influencers recommend, and then take a picture before putting it in your mouth. I really think the made-to-order concept is excellent. Every food item delivered to your table is photographed and happily eaten. If you want an encore, you have to take another two or three trips. At Copper, I didn't see any food waste, and even the fruit, ice cream, and cheesecake weren't eaten halfway and then left. Copper is a semi-buffet ordering system, not a buffet. In terms of price, it's not cheap for Thailand, but based on the influencers' recommendation that it's the 'ceiling', experiencing it once is enough.
It's incredibly convenient to purchase and reserve dining times through Klook, which also provides detailed addresses. To get there, take Exit 2 of the Silom BTS station, next to the Gaysorn Amarin shopping mall; Copper is on the 3rd floor. If you arrive early, you can wait on the benches outside Copper. The staff will graciously offer complimentary Thai milk tea and proactively assist with luggage handling and storage, which is very thoughtful! As for the food, there's a wide variety of high-quality options; even with five of us, we couldn't try everything. We recommend ordering a dish and sharing it among yourselves!
The staff were very enthusiastic, the food was served very quickly, and they were very friendly to children. The dining environment was very comfortable, and the food pickup line was smooth. The food was very fresh and delicious; the steak was excellent, and the oysters were very fresh.
must have been the best buffett I have ever had, all the food I tried are so good, the wagyu beef just melt in my mouth. the seafood taste soo fresh, thai tea are best quality, cakes are delicious and amazing. most of all the services are also high standard staff are so nice, full of smile and accommodating. I would like to thank the manager in charge that night too, although he must be very busy, he's still willing to help and speak to my husband taxi driver and direct them how to get to the restaurant as we don't speak thai, on top of that he pick them up from downstair to make sure they still got time for the buffett and help getting the food to the table as they have lost more than half the time to eat. THANK YOU!!
