Reviews
We went on this tour yesterday and honestly had a fantastic time. It wasn't just a standard sightseeing trip; it felt like a true deep dive into the local culture. Our guide was exceptional—incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. He didn't just point out landmarks; he took the time to explain the historical significance behind every stop, ensuring we understood exactly why these places matter. The culinary aspect was just as impressive. We stopped for lunch, and the food was wonderfully authentic—a genuine taste of the region rather than typical tourist fare. If you are looking for a perfect mix of history, context, and great local flavors, I highly recommend booking this. It was the highlight of our trip!
An eye opening and great trip. Our guide is very experienced and explained it very well. Highly recommended.
it was good experience , our guide Murad was very helpful and showed us interesting things and spots
The tour guide was great, with clear explanations of various attractions and history, and was enthusiastic and lively. The itinerary was not as written by Klook. We arrived at the restaurant at 14:00 for lunch and finished our meal at nearly 16:00 (the restaurant could not serve so many people quickly), and the restaurant was not a designated restaurant in the Klook itinerary. The overall itinerary does not match the price
The itinerary was jam-packed, covering all the places I wanted to visit. These tourist attractions don't have reasonable public transportation options between them, so the overall value for money was high. The itinerary didn't include entrance fees or round-trip off-road vehicle transportation to the mud volcano. The tour guide was very responsible, taking care of everything and providing explanations from beginning to end. However, the schedule was easily affected by late tourists, which resulted in wasted time from the start to the end of the tour. The final end time was extended by three and a half hours longer than expected, making it feel exhausting. Lunch was delayed until 4 PM. In addition, there was no hotel pick-up service. I had to get to the meeting point myself, and on the return trip, we were only dropped off at a subway station in the city center, which was a bit tiring.
quite enjoyable tour we had fantastic !!
A great tour with great tour guide Mr Vahid. Recommend to include this in your itinerary. thank you
If you are planning to visit azerbaijan always plan to stay near nizami street and you moght book airbnbs which are cheaper and better options .Anyways that is individual preference .Moving on you have to plan all your trips centering from baku . 5 to 6 days is enough and as baku is a wonderdul city ,you can keep 2 days atleast to walk the city or may take a day trip or even local taxis .Bolt app is for cabs and wolt is for food delivery . The pickup was at good time ,its always near nizami street max you have to walk 5 to 10 mins to pickup . the iternary was excellent . During aug its hot so always try to carry caps &shades and stay hydrated . the ride to mid volcano in old russian made cars was the best . I was even allowed to ride the vehicle .The foof was not so nice at the iranian restaurant .We ordered chicken pilaf and some local dishes but didnt tasted good. Besides that everything was excellent .
our guide Javid was very kind and taught us lots of things. the only thing I didn't like was transportation. the van was tiny and full so i had to sit front seat between the driver and the guide. no leg space. but after all I enjoyed the tour and really appreciated Javid's service and hospitality.
i came from malaysia. i found this tour in klook, i book just the day before but everything is manageable. Murad is the best guide ever. his english is very fluent. he is so knowledgeable, sharing every information in details. very kind.
