He shared about local history & brought us to some interesting places like the fishing village, balik pulau, the durian plantation for a durian feast and a car ride through the local scenery. Director Ricky Ooi is a native of Penang. He is warm and hospitable and gave us an in-depth introduction to the local customs. The itinerary of this tour group was rich and interesting, with a moderate pace. We visited a floating mosque, a fishing port, a durian garden, a Batik workshop, a cardamom garden, an animal farm, and rice field murals. We also went to a time-honored restaurant to taste authentic laksa and pear. Fruit sour plum drink. I took a lot of lovely photos at different attractions and harvested authentic Penang specialties. My husband and I both had a great time and highly recommend this tour group and Guide Huang. We also enjoyed lunch at a time-honored food stall, savoring authetic laksa and ambra juice with sour plum. I took many beautiful photos along the way and picked up a few genuine Penang specialties.
