Our tour guides Dulce and Rodrigo picked us and the other respective tour participants up from our hotels, so no work on our part to locate a common gathering location. Guides were most warm and welcome, humoristic and knowledgeable, providing a great tour with flexibility for personal needs upon request. The drive between locations was smooth and offered time for questiones and discussion, or ample time to catch up on sleep for those weary night owls. Overall the tour took about 10 hours, but with pickup, drop-off and scenic drives it both feels shorter and completely worth it. The tour took us to several locations ranging from medieval towns and cities, to breathtaking architecture and natural environments and to old castles and villages with fascinating landscapes and histories to boot. I heartily recommend this tour as it offers a lot for a varied range or combinations of interests from history, religion, philosophy, architecture, nature, cuisine, and photography.
Direct hotel pick-up saved a lot of commuting time. Our guide, Ramon, was also the driver and explained the history and geographical environment of each attraction in great detail. He was also very humorous and had excellent driving skills (easy to fall asleep). If it weren't for this tour, I probably would never have had the chance to come here. Highly recommend this tour!
