Reviews
We did this trip today with Wany and even in late winter it was fantastic. We were lucky today as we were the only ones who'd booked so we had a private tour. Wany was extremely informative, we learnt a lot about Korea's history whilst seeing some of the key sites around Seoul - Gyeongbokgung palace, the changing of the guard, some of the local museums, Bukchon Hanok Village where we stopped for a delicious apricot tea looking over the rooftops and then saw a historic house. Along the way Wany took photos of us for our memory and even recommended a delicious dumpling place for lunch and other activities we might be interested in after we'd finished the trip. This was such a great experience - I would definitely recommend especially if this is your first time in Korea.
Sheen was amazing! From the beginning to end, the tour was a wonderful experience. I highly suggest booking this if it’s your first time. December is slow season so it’s less crowded! Thank you again Sheen!!!

Started my korea trip with another place and met Ji-woo as our guide. Today was my last day in Korea and coincidently has Ji-woo again for this tour. Needless to say, it’s just the perfect tour for this palace. You get to learn fun facts and history and see korea from the lense of a localite!
Valued Guest, thank you for sharing your experience on the Tour. It’s such a lovely coincidence that you began and ended your Korea trip with Ji-woo as your guide, and we’re delighted to hear that her insights and stories gave you a deeper look at the city through a local’s perspective. We hope these memories will stay with you long after your travels, bringing a smile whenever you think back to your time in Seoul. Thank you once again for choosing Tripper Korea, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another unforgettable journey.
This was truly such a nice experience. As a Black woman new to this country, it was quite intimidating to think of being such a sore thumb among the natives, but Stella, our guide, made me feel very comfortable. The Hanbok rental process was quick, and the options were really nice. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say; I loved my group, I loved my guide, and this was fun. There was a lot of walking up inclines though, so if you can’t handle that, you might have to cut the trip short at some point. The view is definitely worth it, and you also get great history lessons. itinerary: 💙🙌 guide:❤️🙌
Lia was our tour guide and it was a nice experience ! Not only did she show us around well but also provided beverages and snacks which was nice. Would recommend you try!
It was really great to have Kay as our guide as she gave us a background and explained many interesting facts about Gyeongbukgung Palace & Bukchong Village. If it weren't for Kay, we wouldn't appreciate this tour. Kay even helped us pick a resto for lunch at Insandong ;)
You want to know more about South Korea? Check this out. The tripper/tourist guide Ms.J is so nice. Moreover, wearing Hanbok is really cool.
