Reviews
This was the first tour I participated in after arriving in Kenya. It was an overnight camping tour lasting two days. It offered experiences not possible on a day trip, and I was very satisfied. I saw animals like elephants, deer, and buffalo, and we went hiking to a beautiful waterfall. They contacted me immediately after I made the reservation, and even picked us up from a hotel in downtown Nairobi. I think the guides were very kind. I didn't bring any camping gear like tents, but I was able to rent them. I borrowed two blankets, but the nights in Kenya are very cold, and I slept freezing. I recommend taking adequate measures against the cold if you participate. I had paid about 7,000 KES through Klook, but ended up paying 40,600 KES for the tour costs at the end, totaling about 50,000 KES. Since I had only been in Kenya for a few days, I wasn't familiar with things like M-PESA and, for security reasons, I hadn't brought much cash or my card on the camping tour, so I had to go back to the hotel first and then to an ATM to make the payment. I wish there had been instructions beforehand about the approximate amount of money needed. There were additional costs over the amount shown on Klook, and participants need to be aware that they must pay on the last day. It would have been better if the payment operation was smoother and instructions were given in advance. However, for 50,000 KES for an overnight two-day tour, it seems cost-effective compared to other tours, and I was satisfied with the content of the tour itself.
