I enjoy this tour. It’s amazing experience biking in back streets in Bangkok, exploring local people life which is very different from central district, visiting temples and a small floating market near a train station, tasting local food. Highly recommended a morning ride before shops and stalls close in the afternoon.
This was great fun, a different way to see Thailand. Dan was amazing and I loved exploring the temples and back streeets. Check weather before booking as was quite warm in the afternoon so recommend a morning ride.
The trip was very interesting, a very different Bangkok, separated from the high-rise buildings.... The journey through the alleys and temples was very interesting.... the people around were very friendly......The tour guide was very enthusiastic.... ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing tour! You’re already going to temples, tasting street food, and seeing more of Bangkok’s hidden parts. The tour guide was also very helpful and informative, even giving great local suggestions for beaches and other things to do.
Tom is a great tour guide, knowledgeable and always kept the group together. He made us try a street food which I forgot the name. It is made of coconut milk, rice flour, sugar then cooked like small pancakes. It was delicious! This was indeed a tour of the backstreet of Bangkok, something different from the usual city tour. There were some challenging narrow alleys and sharp turns but manageable. I enjoyed this bike tour, highly recommended!
Highly recommended from China!Amazing experience in Bangkok! The guider is very lovely and nice!Immersive experience of a very local cycling route, and looking forward another different route when my next bangkok trip!
I decided to venture and experience Bangkok from a completely different perspective – on a bicycle, with Candtour. Ended up having a private tour 😄Candtour is a relatively new addition to Klook, hence, the lack of online reviews. Candtour is manage by a cute couple who has passion and local knowledge; one of them was a tour guide pre-Covid, and my guide, Ms Guitar, grew up in the Thonburi community where we were touring. They both exude enthusiasm and genuine love for their city, which instantly made me feel welcome and eager to explore. The tour took me on an journey through the backstreets, showcasing hidden gems and photo spots unknown to most tourists. While some cycling experience is recommended, thanks to Guitar's clear instructions and pre-alerts about bumpy routes, slopes, and sharp turns, I felt safe despite navigating alongside Bangkok's vibrant traffic. This was a thrilling experience, offering a unique perspective on the city's daily life. Beyond the cycling, Guitar's bubbly personality and warm interactions with the locals were infectious. Witnessing her greeting neighbors and taking me into community backyards truly made the experience feel authentic and personal. She also shared fascinating insights into the temples, Thai culture, and everyday life, enriching the journey beyond just a bike ride. Bangkok is more than just shopping and massage; it's a city with a rich history and vibrant culture that comes alive when you venture off the beaten path. Candtour is the perfect way to delve into that hidden side and create unforgettable memories. A huge thank you to Guitar and Prayuth for sharing your passion for your city and for making this experience truly memorable. Don't let the weather deter you! As Prayuth mentioned, while rain can be expected during monsoon season, it usually clears up quickly. Ponchos will be provided, so relax and enjoy the ride. The bike shop is near BTS Pho Nimit, about 5 mins walk. Icon Siam is few stops away, can consider to include in your itinerary for an after activity chill out place :)
A must try when you are in Bangkok. Even though the weather is extremely hot, we were able to enjoy the tour. Biking through the narrow alleys and exploring the neighborhood of Bangkok.
Excellent bike tour, stopping at many interesting sites. Just the right length (around 15km) and pace. Great guide too, she was friendly and hospitable throughout, helping with many fantastic photos. Highly recommend this tour, regardless of if you are a first time visitor to Bangkok or have visited before!!
We had an amazing experience with the biking tour. Our guide, Sir Dan, was incredible making sure that all of us are safe and enjoying the tour, taking pictures of us as well as showing us the stories of the temples we visited. highly recommended!
