Cusco Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain Full-Day Tour

it would have been a 5 if they did not let me wait for 20mins at the merting point when the temp outside was -1. dont expect too much for the free buffet bfast and lunch. it can only fill you up but not really good food. as a single traveller, you need to stick with the guide so he can take photos of you. 25 soles entrance is not included.

This is the only place that has not been brought to the sales point for the time being. The activity itinerary is breakfast-hiking-lunch-back to the hotel. You may know that everyone is tired after walking on this mountain with an altitude of more than 5,000 meters😌. I rode a horse back and forth, so it was ok. The round trip without riding a horse totaled 6km. Everything was arranged very well and the time was exactly as written. Remember to be patient. The local travel agency will only give you the itinerary information the night before departure (there is no tour guide contact number), and the tour guide will not call you until the designated pickup time.

The day before, we will send you a letter to inform you of the pick-up time the next morning. We will pick you up at the hotel entrance. The journey is long but Rainbow Mountain is very beautiful. Breakfast and lunch are included.

It was very nice to have a tour guide who was experienced enough and spoke English well. This trip allowed me to learn a lot about the Rainbow Mountains in Peru. I loved it!

Rainbow mountain is a must see if visiting Cuzco, Peru. Its vibrant colours are still evident under a cloudy sky! It is not for the faint of heart as it requires you to walk uphill at elevations which may cause difficulties in breathing at 40% oxygen saturation, as well as accelerated heart rhythm. The pickup at the hotel was fine, although I thought it was unusual that they had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel even though the address was provided before. Guide was friendly and clear in his explanations. Breakfast and lunch buffet were provided. A long day (5am-4:30pm) but totally amazing experience.

The tour guide was nice, but their English really wasn't great. Also, the transportation was terrible. The mountain road was 3 hours each way, and I was incredibly carsick because the roads were super, super bad and the car was also bad. If you can handle riding a roller coaster for three hours straight, then consider it, but I'm extremely dissatisfied. 🙄 They make you wake up at 4 AM to drive on that terrible mountain road, and then you climb to 5000 meters, and you lose half your life. 🙄

My favorite place in peru. We recommand, the agency was well organized and the guide to helpful.

A very good trip, the weather is also very good, Rainbow Mountain is very beautiful, the colors are bright and clear.
