Fun experience with my daughter & delicious Ramen.
Hinata ran a class for me and my partner, and it was excellent! the food was delicious, and the explanation was very interesting. His English was really good. Would recommend to any traveller :) It is inside a bar called Shinjuku Ale.
We had a fun time making ramen with our teacher, who had already done a significant amount of prep with the broth and chopping ingredients so the class would be possible to complete within an hour or so. I think we spent 90 minutes there including eating time. The ramen was delicious, the kids had fun arranging their bowl and customizing their ingredients, and sensei offered tips for getting around Tokyo and beyond. For kid-friendly activities, definitely would recommend, but pick a time in the early afternoon if possible. Kabukicho isn't the best area for families at night - the venue itself is a small bar.
My son and I had an amazing time! The staff were kind and friendly. The ramen was the best I’ve had!
