Reviews
Reviews summaryMany thanks to the travel agency for their professional arrangements. The itinerary was well-planned, making the entire trip worry-free and smooth, leading to an excellent overall experience. I especially want to commend our driver, Master Xiao Li! Our tour guide, Master Xiao Li, was truly outstanding! He meticulously planned everything, drove skillfully, knew the routes well, and ensured a safe and comfortable journey. He proactively helped us with our luggage and enthusiastically recommended attractions and routes in Western Sichuan, sharing many practical and interesting tips. At each stop, he carefully reminded us of important details. He was responsible, reliable, and punctual, making our trip incredibly easy and enjoyable. Thank you very much! This trip was excellent, almost like a private tour, as our group only had two people. The driver, Xiao Li, provided great service, even helping us take photos. We communicated via WeChat and a translation app. Thai people can definitely use this service, as I didn't find many reviews from Thais. We got an SUV with water and oxygen canisters. The hotel was clean and up to standard. We could ask to stop anywhere (additional charges applied depending on the agreement). However, on the last day, we were unlucky and didn't get to see the snow-capped mountains.
Good experience. The best option to explore western sichuan on a limited time and within budget. The driver is chinese speaking only but we fortunately have a travel buddy that could translate. i think even without a translator, the trip is doable. the drive is smooth and we can request stop for pictures. a very good deal.
accomodation options: accommodation were comfortable and suited for the trip, amenities within the room were plenty. Especially the stay with the oxygen supply, very thoughtful given the high altitude sickness that we encountered. Breakfast options were plenty as well. itinerary: Itinerary was flexible, and easily adaptable to our needs. It is a great start for those who wants to explore the outskirts of China, enjoying various sightseeing features like snow mountain and vast grasslands. tour guide: Extremely skilled driver, patient, knowledgeable about the places that he brought us. Master Liu was also very thoughtful and caring when we were down with altitude sickness on the first day, constantly checking in on us.
extremely worthwhile trip. firstly, the views were out of this world. I went as a solo female traveller in early November, at the peak of autumn and the weather was beautifully sunny everyday. driver 王民强 was extremely masterful and knowledgeable about the route. I thought the drives would be extremely long, but it’s only long on the first day from Chengdu to mount siguniang, and on the last day on the way back to Chengdu, which lasted about 3-4h. the rest of the drive was manageable, and were around 1h, with stops in between. the car ride was spacious and comfortable. the group consisted of 5 people and we were all in our twenties and got along well, having meals and exploring the attractions together. none of us had altitude sickness and enjoyed our trip thoroughly. hotels were comfortable and better than expected, although the toilets did have some stains. overall a very enjoyable trip and would recommend it, especially to young people looking for views and some adventure.
It was a very fun trip. The driver took very good care of us, like we were brothers and sisters. The Chinese people on the trip were also lovely and helped take care of us and communicated well with us. The hotel was a luxury hotel every night. There might be a little bit of breakfast that we didn't like. The tour was flexible and focused on satisfying the travelers and going to the highlight spots where the photos were beautiful. Thank you very much and I will definitely come back to support you again.
So much fun, beautiful places to visit, great driver, the tour company gave great information, clear and complete details, impressed with every spot, most importantly the accommodation was very good, much better than expected. At first, I bought it without expecting much, thinking it was just joining a tour, but when I tried it, I really liked it. I posted pictures on Facebook and everyone asked. I highly recommend it. Thank you.
The tour is very pleasant. Every place is very beautiful. We enjoyed the trip. Master wei driving skill is exceptional. He is very kind and we enjoyed our conversation with the helped of google translate. because only my mom can speak mandarin.
This trip to western Sichuan was great, and the scenery and scenic spots along the way were very worthwhile. The car of the team leader, Master Que, was very comfortable, and the four of us sat just right without being crowded. Master Que was warm and thoughtful. He introduced various precautions in detail before the trip, recommended some experience projects, without any compulsory consumption, and gave various suggestions for playing. His driving skills are very reliable, and he drove steadily on the complex and changeable mountain roads in western Sichuan. Throughout the trip, Master Que always maintained a patient and friendly attitude, not impatient, and explained the local customs and allusions of the scenic spots to us along the way, so that we have a deeper understanding of the culture of western Sichuan. The two-night accommodation arrangement was also ok and there was no thunder, especially I liked Fanyin Mountain House! The food was also very delicious and there was no discomfort. We ate together as a group of four, and the average meal was 40-60rmb per person. In general, it is still recommended to sign up because it is a small group without so much trouble, and the itinerary can also be adjusted after internal discussion. I met new friends in these three days, and I look forward to going to western Sichuan again!
It was an impressive and worthwhile trip. Beautiful views everywhere and the afternoon coffee with the mountain view was the best. Mr. Chen Yu, a good and polite driver, helped us to order Chinese food, helped take pictures for us, very cute. And the coordinator, Mr. 小钰, also helped us to book train tickets and park entrance tickets very well. He answered questions quickly. Overall, it was the best trip. I will have a chance to use Klook again. I like it very much.
TLDR: BY FAR THE BEST ADVENTURE TRIP I'VE HAD SO FAR!!! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the epic scenic side of China. Definitely surpassed any expectation we've had, and more! The views were absolutely breath-taking, the weather being up in the mountains was refreshingly cold (we could even play with some snow in October) and our guide/driver was so kind, helpful and passionate about showing people the charm of western sichuan. Being unable to speak or read chinese, both my wife and I were initially feeling some uncertain about the trip and were just leaving the experience up to fate. But even with the language barrier, we felt very well taken care off by the guide and our company and we could just soak the full 3 day itinerary in. We were all friends after the trip ended. Our group was small, just 5 pax. Transportation was a 7 seater SUV with enough storage space if each had their own check-in size luggage. It was a 4 to 5 journey out from Chengdu but we can have break stops along the way. Mount Siguniang was pretty crowded, but due to China's Golden week. Yala Snow Mountain was my no.1 favourite (recommend to ride the horse up). Get to see wild Yaks along the way, clear mountain streams, and gorgeous views. The photoshoot was very enjoyable and you can choose how elaborate u want it to be depending on the price. Moshi park was unique, and my 2nd most favourite is having coffee in the most peaceful valley setting. There's just too much to say but words can't describe. Book this trip for the best worth of your buck. Happy and safe travels!
