Due to the high price, it had been a long time since I last visited Cafe Kool for their lunch or dinner buffet. This time, I decided to try it again because of a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. The food selection was extensive and delicious, including steamed lobster with garlic, abalone, wagyu beef, chilled seafood, and sashimi. There was a rich variety of choices for each category, along with complimentary juice and coffee. While there were many dessert options, the ice cream selection was limited, which was a minor drawback. The staff service remained polite. Overall, the buy-one-get-one-free offer made it excellent value for money.
The buffet lunch at Kowloon Shangri-La is definitely worth trying! The lobster claws are fresh, sweet, and springy, the stewed soup is hot and flavorful, and the dessert selection is extensive. The ambiance is comfortable, and the service is attentive.
This was my first time purchasing a buy-one-get-one-free offer, and the hotel environment was excellent. The food quality was great, with a wide variety of options, and they refilled dishes quickly! However, the desserts were too sweet, and it would be even better if there were more fruit options. Overall, it's highly recommended.
I enjoyed the buffet so much in May that I came back with friends in June. I really love the nostalgic decor here; it has a natural and comfortable feel. The hotel's dessert selection is varied and delicious, and they even have durian ice cream, which I adore! The conch stew was a pleasant surprise—it was hot and incredibly sweet. Each person also received a prawn, which made it well worth the price. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Very satisfied!
The food selection is rich and varied, and the taste is excellent. I particularly enjoyed the stewed soup, Hainanese chicken, Wagyu sukiyaki, grilled eel skewers, cold cuts, apple crumble, and crème brûlée. Furthermore, the service was outstanding. Staff members briefly introduced the beverage area when seating us, were always on standby to offer assistance, and cleared plates quickly. Highly commendable!
Seafood: The steamed lobster with garlic was delicious. Salad: Many varieties, all tasty. Cooked Food: The wagyu beef was amazing, and the drunken abalone was good. Soup: The tomato soup was perfectly tart. Dessert: The freshly made egg waffles were delicious, as were the tofu ice cream and the pistachio chocolate lava cake. Service: Plates were cleared quickly, and the staff had excellent attitudes. Location: Right outside Tsim Sha Tsui P1 exit.
My two elderly parents, my sister, and I, a total of four people, dined here. Besides the buy-two-get-one-free offer from Klook, there was also a 30% discount for one senior, and then an additional $60 off when paying with PayMe, which made it a really great deal! Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant also provided a complimentary birthday dessert, and the service was very thoughtful! The environment was spacious, and the food selection was diverse, so everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal!
Today I went to have a lunch buffet with my family. There was still a New Year's atmosphere. There was so much food, especially the Halal curry, Southeast Asian curry delicacies, and some delicious Middle Eastern specialties. There were also other Chinese stir-fries, stir-fried beef, lamb, different Western styles, fried fish, pizza, freshly stir-fried pasta, beef braised in red wine, and chicken stewed in white sauce, which were all very delicious. There were too many salad desserts and seafood. There was really limited space in my stomach, and I couldn't eat that much 😁😋🙏 If I have the chance, I will definitely go again with my family. My family had a great time eating.
The overall quality of the lunch buffet is quite good! The Middle Eastern themed food is outstanding, with spices used just right, not too overpowering. Everyone has the opportunity to try special exotic dishes, and the flavors are very appealing to Hong Kong people. I particularly recommend the "Garlic Hummus," which is delicious. Additionally, there's a wide variety of hot dishes. Seafood options are relatively limited, mainly consisting of crab legs and crab claws. For sashimi, there's herring, tuna, salmon, octopus, eel, and more. As for lobster, each person is limited to one, exchanged with a token from the table. While it's not all-you-can-eat, the arrangement is well-organized. Dessert options are fewer and the taste is average, but the restaurant thoughtfully prepared marshmallows and a chocolate fountain, showing considerable effort. It's worth noting that this place is very suitable for families with children. This Easter, the restaurant arranged a variety of festive activities, such as painting Easter eggs and smashing a giant Easter egg, which greatly increased interaction. Children are sure to have a lot of fun!
The food quality was good, with dishes like steamed lobster with garlic, abalone, and caviar toast. I'm not sure if it was because there were too many customers, but the environment was a bit noisy.
