Reviews
we had an enjoyable time at all the location despite it was an early start. I would recommend to take your lunch on your own rather than joining the group. The guide (with sunflower) from City Wonders was really good and she brought us to picturesque place in Manarola to take some really beautiful IG worthy pics.
Very convenient day tour if you have a very limited timenin florence. You get to experience Cinque Terre and Pisa jampacked in one day from Florence. Dany and Jay made sure everybody catched up the group especially the elderly and those couples with small children. Great time with our group...
Nice tour guide allows you to have free time during the tour and rest time on coach. Schedule and arrangements are good, but you may expect a little bit hiking time.
Tour guide: Very professional, clear explanation, perfect voice. Group size: This group is relatively large, at least 50 people, which is a bit too many. It will be difficult for the tour guide to take care of every group. Attractions along the way: Each one is a photo spot, a must-visit. Rest: There is enough time to rest on the bus. Itinerary: Well-organized, without any ambiguity or impropriety. The lunch restaurant introduced is worth trying if you have the budget. The pasta is quite delicious.
the trip is convenient for travelers, comfortable cars, good food and nice view.
The trip is worth the money. The view is breathtaking. The transportation is really good, but the guide still bring you to take trains to cinque terre as the city does not allow tourist bus. The bus is a two-floor bus, and the seat is spacious. There is no lunch; you need to find lunch yourself. the only downside to the trip is it’s quite a short time to spend in each of the city. I wish I could spend more however, I understand that this is all the tour can accommodate in one day.
There was a bit of confusion when we gathered in the morning, as it seemed like many different tour groups were meeting there. However, both our guide Elizabeth and the driver were very nice. Since we only visited two fishing villages only, the schedule wasn’t too rushed, and the trip was very comfortable. On the way back, we even had the chance to stop by and see the Leaning Tower of Pisa
The trip is very smooth! I had trip on 17 Nov. 2024 on Sunday (usually not many restaurants or shops open). It was drizzling from time to time, temperature was warm but still possible. I recommend this itinerary, well organized by the tour guide with a very clear timeline and info for easy picture spots. This point is important because the bus will bring the whole tour to La Spezia, and then transfer by regional train to visit villages. You will have time to browse around. After lunch, we took the bus again to Pisa, and it had enough time (depends on which time slot you have, better ask the ticket center) for people to get up the tower. Before 19:30, we arrived back to Florenze.
The tour guide Nathan is very kind and humorous. He will also tell us the best places to take pictures and how to set up the mobile phone camera to take the best photos. At noon, you can directly book a set meal at a cooperative restaurant with the tour guide (personally I think it is good, and there is no need to waste it) (If you have time to find a restaurant), you can also eat by yourself. Highly recommended.
The bus pick-up point in Florence is a bit difficult to find, and it takes a long time to get to the train station to get off at La Specia. In addition, we only visited two of the five fishing villages, and the time we stayed was not enough to go to the national park. If you want to explore the Cinque Terre in depth, it’s best not to go with Pisa
