Classic Whale Watching Experience in Akureyri

friendly guide who has knowledge about the whales around the area. and we were so lucky to see the rare blue whale. they even extended a bit for us to enjoy the tour.

Although it was a tour in a blizzard and extreme cold, we were fine staying on deck the whole time thanks to the cold-weather gear provided by the tour company. They worked hard to find whales for us, and we were able to see four of them! We saw them clearly with our own eyes! There are restrooms and a cafe/bar on board. We recommend bringing your own gloves and a neck warmer to cover your head and face. If you're lucky, you might even meet the tour company's mascot dogs!

Really informative and interesting trip with great views of the whales

We were very lucky to have clear skies and calm waters, which meant those of us prone to seasickness didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and we saw whales breathing and showing their tails several times. It was a bit disappointing not to see a whale jump out of the water, but we were still very satisfied. We highly recommend this experience if you visit Akureyri.

Captain, you are a true legend. You are so good at finding whales. After that, you won't see any dolphins. The coffee was also really delicious, and 3 hours flew by. Thank you. I don't know when I'll be back, but adios.

This is an amazing trip. We saw 4 whales! We also saw one whale flapping its tail to attract another whale and jumped.
