Thanks to Xin Yeh and Klook, which I wasn't able to try last time, I was able to easily make a reservation for Dotamba. Since it was a set menu, there was no crab rice, but the appetizer of karasumi was paired with sliced radish, the shrimp fried with salt and pepper was cooked just right, and the fried rice with a hint of mushroom was excellent. I enjoyed the Taiwanese-style seasoning that was not overly seasoned, and I ended up eating before taking photos, so I'm sorry I don't have any good photos. Crab rice may be too much for two people, but in such cases, you can always order a da bao to take away. Next time, I'll definitely try crab rice.
Taiwanese cuisine is familiar to Japanese people. Personally, I'm used to authentic Chinese food such as Tohoku cuisine, so I felt it was lacking, but there are many Japanese customers and the polite service makes it a comfortable place to go. The fried shrimp and peanut mochi were especially delicious.
I took a bus from the Taipei Main Station bus stop to a place close to the restaurant. It took about 5 minutes to get to the restaurant from the nearest bus stop. I showed my printed voucher and was immediately guided to the restaurant, and the course started right away. I didn't have a chance to order a drink unless I asked for a menu. Lol
The service was excellent. Even without asking, they frequently replaced and refilled dishes, water, and drinks. The food was delicious, and the spice aroma wasn't too strong. Even the elderly guests enjoyed it.
The food was delicious, and the staff were very kind, so both my parents and my wife were satisfied.
I handed over the voucher and entered smoothly. It was delicious.
