Reviews
our guide was awesome but for some reason she didn’t have the audio guide equipment like what other tour groups had, it was really difficult to hear her at some parts and eventually we gave up. but she brought us to some amazing photo spots and had great insights to share.
Our guide Carmen is excellent. She has an abundant knowledge of the history of Granada. We felt her expertise and enthusiasm as a guide eagerly to bring us a memorable walking tour. The tour was filled with stories about the beauty of the mosque-transformed cathedrals, the craftsmanship of the Mudejar architecture, wonders of the pictorial cobblestone pavements, blossoms of “carmens“ along the alleys, stunning sunset views of the “red castle” the Alhambra Palaces at the Mirador de San Nicolás. Wandering through the narrow and winding paths in the Albacin and Sacromonte areas recalls the childhood joys of playing hide and seek. Through well-planned itinerary, Carmen leads you to the romantic poem at the Gypsies water fountain "Fuente de la Amapola" "Cuánto me gustaría ser la fuente de mi barrio pa cuando pases y bebas sentir muy cerca tus labios José." Two-hours walking tour without any award silience at all! Moreover, Carmen pays heartful attention to the safety of the tour members during the whole tour. The tour comforts my heart and soul. Highly recommended. Don’t miss Carmen’s tour.
I was only notified of the meeting location change on the day of the trip, thankfully it wasn't far, and I ran all the way there. The tour guide was a local, very enthusiastic and friendly, but didn't provide headsets, so it was a bit difficult to hear the explanations along the way. The route was easy, passing by the Nicolas viewpoint and other nice viewpoints. Not too crowded, and the night view was beautiful. Just sharing this for reference.
We had a great tour with Celia, who was very knowledgeble and fun. Highly recommended to anyone looking to enjoy Granada and understand ita history.
The stunning views were all worth the hike.
