It felt like I was looking at a restoration of a mural that someone repainted later, after Da Vinci's original had disappeared. This is purely my personal opinion, but if you're going to Milan to see The Last Supper, I'd advise against it. I was more impressed when I saw it in art books or photos before. I'm no expert, but is it really a restoration of Da Vinci's original mural? I don't think so. I spent three days in Milan, but in my opinion, one night would have been enough for the city. No, I don't recommend it.
