Reviews
This was kind of a letdown. While I didn't have an issue travelling to the countryside to try out the activity, it was not worth going all the way for it. Maybe I was wrong with having high expectations because I went for a ramen making workshop the previous day and they taught us from how to tie the chicken, create the noodle, customise your soup base, boil it etc, BUT what I got from the udon workshop was just on making the noodles, that's it. The instructor also didn't speak a lick of English so I couldn't inquire anything about the making process like what's the name of this, etc. I just mixed water with the flour, kneaded it, flatten it, cut it and that's it. I wasn't taught about the soup or was involved with the other ingredients, nothing. And because they didn't speak English, I thought when the lady passed me the menu, it was to name what topping I wanted, in the end, it was an extra thing I had to pay. Not worth going all the way. The only saving grace was that the udon was yummy.
nice experience and location. staff was nice but only spoke Japanese. lunch provided was deceiving as it was only the Udon that we made.
