Taipei Free Walking Tour Historic Route

Definitely worth spending 3hrs walking through parts of old Taipei and getting educated about its history! Hope there are more of such tours as it’s a great way to learn about the country. We have about 10-15people in the group with the help from 2 experienced guides. Pace of tour good, recommended tour!

😇😇😇😇group size: 34 people meet at station. on time leaving. I had a wonderful experience on the Klook Jiufen and Shifen tour, thanks to our guide, Kelly Shao😘. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history and culture of each place in a fun and engaging way. The timing of the tour was perfect — we never felt rushed but also managed to see and do so much. Kelly also gave great local food recommendations, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. One of the highlights for me was the traditional tea experience in Jiufen. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly memorable. I highly recommend this tour, and especially Kelly as a guide, if you want an informative, well-organized, and enjoyable day trip.

Had a great time with the tour led by Andy and Yuan. The itinerary is great. They took us thru important landmarks and told us many interesting info and sided stories. They even introduced us to some good food. I really recommend this tour if you're into learning deeper about Taiwan and her people.

We’re loving our first trip in Taiwan with this tour! Our guides, Fu and I-Fan, were fantastic - they brought history to life in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. I had a basic knowledge of Taiwan's history from school, but this tour filled in the gaps and made it feel personal and meaningful. Our first day back in Taiwan and started with a fun tour with Ann and Patrick! Learned so much about the rich local history of Taipei, Taiwan. I’m glad that we got to book this walking tour and see nearby historic sites even just in the city. We even got to try ice cream from a 70-year-old shop, Yong Fu ice cream! 😋 I highly recommend this tour.

A very interesting and informative half-day tour with Helen and Andy, who did a really great job. We learned a lot about the history and background, had the opportunity to relax a bit with delicious ice cream, and at the end, received some great tips for other interesting places (restaurants, etc.) in Taipei. Your guides Cindy, and Arthur were fantastic. They are full time worker / students but take the time to give out tours during their time off. They both shared personal stories to make the tour feel lighthearted and fun. Hope Cindy’s prayer to get a boyfriend becomes real!

It was a blast!!! Had fun learning about Taipei (and Taiwan) history from our two guides - Fu & Cassie! They're both so energetic and knowledgeable and fun during our entire Taipei walking tour. It was a bit drizzling (light rain) during the morning so it's truly recommended to have your umbrella, own bottle of water to hydrate yourself although there are convenience stores or vending machines you'll encounter along the way but it's better to have your own, and of course great shoes/boots/sandals/slippers since you will walk the entire tour.
