All-In Kandy City Day Tour with Pinnawala elephant Orphanage Visit

Got a sweet driver who doesn’t speak english well. There was NO guide at anytime at the tour. We were left alone to explore the things described. Leaving without any knowledge when we came home. I recommend taking a TukTuk driver from the street for 1/10 OF THE PRICE!!!

Had to chase up night before about pick up time. Poor advice a couple of times from driver. He also took me out of our way to an elephant park - not part of tour - with additional cost of 3000-5000. I refused to pay. Must have been hoping for kickback. All other activities were as stated.

Worst experience WORST EXPERIENCE EVER 1. The tour guide is a driver and not a driver. 2. The tour guide was late for 15 minutes. 3. The tour guide didn't listen to KLOOK, and didn't know the itinerary. I saw my KLOOK confirmation letter and knew where to go. 4. The actual itinerary is completely different from the website itinerary. Sightseeing in the upper lake area: Did not go to Udawattakele Protected area and Royal Botanic Gardens: Did not go to bottled water: did not visit the Spice Garden, Tea Garden Factory, Gem Museum: These three are shopping stations, the driver just wants to take us to the shopping station to buy expensive things, to be slaughtered. Narrative: The tour guide said that the travel company did not give him money, and he could not go to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple on the first itinerary (this is different from the original itinerary), so first take us to the shopping station without the tickets, the tea garden factory and the spice garden, these two It was already 11 o'clock in the past, and we refused to go to the Gem Museum, hoping to go to the Udawattakele Reserve and the Royal Botanic Gardens. But the driver said that there was no time and the botanical garden was not right, so we sent us, and finally became the University of Conti, which took us to the road (the university is of course free admission). In other words, the tickets for the Udawattakele Reserve and the Royal Botanic Gardens were swallowed by the tour guide. Have lunch, another tour guide to pick us up, take a famous local chain store, it is delicious. Finally, we went back to the city. After another tour guide (third place) picked us up, took us to see the big Buddha (packing tickets for 500kS per person) and then took us to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, but he did not have a tour and bought us a ticket. After that, people leave (1500kS per ticket), so we can't hear the history of Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Quite a bad travel experience. The reason why the tour guide quickly left was that we could not make him make extra money.
