Great Location and Comfortable Rooms, but Operations Could Be Tighter Overall, I had a good stay at Orient Beach Hotel and would rate it 4 out of 5. The rooms are spacious, modern, well-appointed, and easy to navigate. I stayed in a ground-floor unit and really enjoyed the patio, oceanfront view, and breeze. The location is excellent. Orient Village is only a few minutes away on foot, and there are many great restaurants along the beach. Breakfast at KKO was also good, with pastries, cold cuts, fruit, and yogurt though I would note birds were often picking at the bread without many attempts from staff to stop them. Ultimately the main issue was inconsistent service and follow-up. We booked two rooms, and one had weak air conditioning at check-in. There was confusion about whether it would be repaired or whether we would be moved, and I had to follow up myself for an answer. A shower feature in another room took about two days to fix, and staff did not provide updates because the room phone was not working (my phone issue could have also been proactively fixed but never was). There were also a couple of occasions when supposedly clean beach towels were visibly dirty. None of these issues ruined the stay, and the staff was helpful when prodded, but the hotel needs clearer procedures, stronger quality control, and more proactive communication. That said and overall, the location, rooms, and views made it an enjoyable experience.

Very clean. I liked that we could open up our sliding glass doors and walk to the beach ⛱️. Can't wait to come back. The amenities were awesome, great staff. The continental breakfast could be better...eggs, home fries, bacon etc;

Pros:This hotel is excellent! Located right on the amazing beach (1 minute walk from room to the ocean). We loved the location, hotel amenities, maintenance, food, staff! The staff is terrific: easy check in and check out, helped us out with taxi, ATM machine, electricity outlet adjuster (U.S. vs European), answered all our questions. The cleaning lady did amazing job cleaning our room. The stay-included breakfast is high quality, has variety of options, delicious. The breakfast restaurant hostess is very nice. The room is very clean and beautiful, has kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, teapot, coffee machine. The beach is beautiful, clean, has a lot of activities available (snorkeling, parasailing, etc for very reasonable prices, on average $20/ per person).There are many restaurants, bars, and French Deli in walking distance. The place has wonderful vibes: everybody friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed our vacation! Cons: there is nothing to complain about. Everything was superb.

This was my third stay at Orient Beach Hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. There’s a reason I keep coming back! The staff is truly outstanding—friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and always willing to help with anything you need. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The tropical grounds are lush and inviting, creating the perfect island atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is another huge plus. Being just steps from Orient Beach and within walking distance of fantastic beach bars and restaurants makes it the perfect place to stay in Saint Martin. If you're looking for a boutique hotel with exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxing atmosphere, I can't recommend Orient Beach Hotel enough. I'll definitely be back for a fourth visit!

The hotel itself is in the perfect location in front of the beach and all the amenities of Orient Bay. The room was nice with an amazing view (choose Ocean view) and parking was easy (but it was low season). Cleaning was good, even if the fridge in the room was always leaking and the bathroom shower needed a bit of more maintenance. There were few other issues that may annoy other clients, but there weren’t major for us (but certainly not worth giving 5 stars): the beach club in front of the hotel they generally use was closed, but they only informed us after booking (this is something you should clearly inform clients before)- similar issue with breakfast, they claim it is included but it is really essential (see pictures) and even the à la carte menu (that you have to pay) is not enough. The window lock didn’t work (safety issue) and the outside pool is quite small too. However, the location is the strong point and waking up with the ocean view, so it all depends on your priorities.

The front desk staff was excellent! Friendly, welcoming and helpful when we had questions. Our room had a great view and was even better than the pictures. We will definitely be back!

I recently celebrated my 65th birthday with a solo stay at Orient Beach Hotel, and it was everything I had hoped for. Keem at the front desk was personable and professional, Myriam, the General Manager, made me feel truly welcome, and the entire staff—from the evening front desk to housekeeping—were consistently warm, accommodating, and attentive. The hotel is quiet, comfortable, and perfectly located on Orient Beach, with great restaurants and a small grocery store within walking distance. I rented a car, and parking was easy everywhere, making it simple to explore the island. It was the perfect setting to relax and celebrate such a special milestone. Although I travel to St. Maarten often, this was my first stay on the French side, and it won’t be my last. Orient Beach Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning. Thank you for making my milestone birthday so memorable!
