This small converted mansion house was great for the proximity to Summerfest and scooter availability. Location was most important for this trip to MKE. The hotel had a small restaurant and bar open at 5 pm. We never dined there as we had so many other options. This was a come and go type of hotel for the independent traveler. Parking was convenient too. Definitely would stay again

The beds were incredibly comfortable.
I sat up with my friend talking for a couple hours, and we would’ve loved an ottoman between the two chairs to rest our feet on.

No front desk and need code to enter. Parking you need to reserve, and I called and did it over the phone when I got to my room. Person on the phone did it promptly.

The wall mounted air conditioner was apparently broken in the room, so they installed a temporary window unit that was very loud and pointed straight at the bed. Between the cold air blowing on us and the intermittent noise of the unit running, it was hard to hear the TV, let alone get to sleep. Being on the first floor, the adjoining night club was also very loud, at least when the AC was not running. Other than that, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the building has a lot of historic character.

Καλό There is a bar in the building that is loud until midnight. The parking fee was higher than the site warranted. The sofa couch was not suitable for any over 5' tall. It all depends on the room you get in terms of the experience. I would not stay there again, as it was more costly and had little to recommend it. No microwave in the room. Fridge froze my food overnight, making it useless and uneatable. NOT appropriate if you cannot walk up steps easily. I think a regular hotel room would have offered better service at a more reasonable price.
