The JR Clement Inn Kochi turned out to be a great base to explore southern and eastern Shikoku. Centrally located in Kochi, it was easy to get to from the airport and the parking garage was very convenient for a rental car. The JR Kochi station was right across the street and with a major tram station there it was easy to hop on Kochi's historic trams as well. Several convenience stores were nearby also when needed. Staff were very helpful and polite, as the norm in Japan. The room was typical urban Japan business hotel size (i.e. small) but well-equipped, clean, and more than comfortable for passing out after a long day sightseeing. Don't expect a great view though since the window was tiny and all you could see were nearby buildings - again, typical urban Japan hotel. The included breakfast was excellent with a choice of set meals to choose from including a delicious fried mackerel set and the local seared bonito specialty. It was a little inconvenient to have to choose a timeslot the night before but at least it must help reduce crowding. In summary, a typically efficient and convenient Japanese hotel. Nothing fancy but still excellent.

部屋に電話がなかったような気がします。モーニングコールをお願いしようと思いましたが、部屋に備え付けの置時計の操作が判らずでした。

주차장이용하는데 편리하고 좋았습니다 객실도 넓고 깨끗했습니다

Clean room!

It could not have been better! A highly efficient staff, an excellent room and hotel facilities, in a fascinating city.

I loved everything, but the staff was probably what I appreciated the most. The were kind and helpful when there was a delay with my luggage. I have already booked another stay when I pass through Kochi again.

Very efficient staff, clean surroundings and good amenities. Comfortable room and beds which allowed a good night’s sleep. Close to the station and some of the sites of interest including Kochi Castle.

Perfect stay right outside the train station. Conveniently located for those planning a trip through Japan by rail. Very close to everything else as well.

Everything is nice about the property except the bed size is tiny.

朝食が非常においしかったです。 サービスも行き届いており、非常に満足度の高い宿泊となりました。
