Amazing everything was perfect

This ryokan was recommended by a Japanese coworker and our stay at Hotel Hanakoyado was exquisite. We were only able to stay one night, because it was booked up when we had planned to go earlier in our trip. We ended up staying here the night before our flight home and it was just the decompression we needed for our long flight the next day. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and you could really tell they took a lot of pride in their work. The meals were delicious. We especially loved dinner, and the Charcoal Grilled Kobe Beef really just melts in your mouth. We booked the room with the private onsen because that was the only room available and I was determined to stay here (since it was so highly recommended) and it was absolutely worth it and very relaxing. They also handle booking and transportation to a massage parlor nearby. We did an aromatherapy full-body massage and slept like babies that night. I am absolutely looking forward to visiting this place again. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Note: I would book directly through the website for this inn because expedia overcharged us

You may want to call them to pick you up if you don’t wanna walk up hill with your luggage.

Amazing Place!!!

Loved the environment and look of both the ryokab and town. We got to try all 3 onsens and enjoy each. Staff was extremely friendly, food was delicious and worth the value, and or stay was comfortable.

Staff members are super friendly. Room was authentic Japanese style , very beautiful. Bathing facilities were amazing.

This was the best stay on our 14 days in Japan! The hospitality was above and beyond our expectations. Truely five stars! Manager Mr. Mamiya Haruhi and his staff welcomed us and attended to our every needs, again above and beyond our expectations. Food and service were of highest quality. The hot springs were relaxing. Although steep, the area around this traditional Japanese hotel was very walkable. We only wish we had stay more than one night.
