Staff and room

Nice and quiet neighborhood, many dining places available close by. Close to metro. Friendly front desk personnel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The management and staff were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel welcome from arrival to departure. The hotel facilities were clean, well maintained, and perfectly suited for a comfortable family stay. Situated near the beautiful Parc Monceau and just a short walk from Villiers Metro Station (Lines 2 and 3), guests have easy access to all that Paris has to offer. The surrounding neighbourhood is elegant and vibrant, with charming cafés, local boutiques, traditional restaurants, beautiful architecture, and peaceful green spaces. Families will particularly appreciate the combination of a safe, residential atmosphere and convenient transport links, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

It's our 3rd time at this place. The rooms were a little run down a couple of years ago (broken tiles in bathrooms) - I thought this would have been fixed by now. I know Edmond Sonder filed bankruptcy last year. The property manager I talked to explained that they are fixing this location little by little. We'll be back next year and give another feedback. Overall, a couple of broken tiles in the bathroom should not be a stop for you to stay at this location. It's a great area. Staff is great. Overall hotel is clean. We did not take breakfast overthrew. No reason to give less than 4.5 stars. We'll be back, and I'm recommending this place if you want to stay in the 17th district of Paris which is safe and close enough to all tourist places, but located in a non touristic area.

The Edmond Hotel was an excellent choice! With AC and a fridge in the room, it was perfect for the hot weather! Staff was friendly, warm, and welcoming! Location was within easy reach of all of the tourist sights but far enough that you felt like you were seeing the local side of Paris! I will be recommend this hotel to anyone going for business or pleasure!

Ideal location in a perfect neighborhood. Nice view from the room on a higher floor. Would stay again.

Room was modern clean and well pointed

This place is a dump! Stay away, believe me! Dirty rooms, aunts everywhere, certain staff members rude and uncomodating. Did not want to give us a change of room. Not a 4 star hotel - maybe a 2 with 4 star prices. Super disappointing stay. Never ever will we reurn to this hotel.

This stay was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready, which we accepted, but when we returned, the elevator was broken. Our room was on the European 3rd floor—four flights of stairs. Management repeatedly assured us the elevator would be fixed, yet it never was for the entire five nights. My husband has bad knees, and the constant stair climbing left him in severe pain that continues nearly a month later. Their repeated promises felt like lies. The room itself was in terrible condition. The couch was filthy and dingy, clearly not cleaned in years. The dishwasher was broken. The in-room phone didn’t work, nor did the front desk phone. Only one bottle of water was provided, forcing us to navigate stairs just to refill it. Did I sign up for an airbnb?? Housekeeping was abysmal: bathrooms were never cleaned daily, hair left on the floor, towels not replaced even if deliberately left on the floor. The safe was already locked when we checked in. We reported all these issues immediately, and nothing was fixed—not a single problem addressed during our stay. The only positive was the front desk staff, who were polite and courteous, and did help with our luggage. But management failed completely. Compensation promised at checkout never materialized, and corporate never followed up. This stay was not just disappointing—it was an ordeal. I will never stay at another Sonder property, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid this hotel at all costs.
