Υπέροχα This was an older but very well restored hotel with extremely tall ceilings and somewhat dated fixtures. We all thought it was great value for the money and the staff were very helpful for us.

Φανταστικό Kind, Caring & Easy communication. Late check in after visiting friends, clear instructions and guidance in how to access property and room. Was a freezing & windy night in Hobart, so grateful for the heaters popped on, welcoming us with a warm and cozy space to retreat. Breakfast was delicious and we very much appreciated the fresh fruit and delicious coffee.

The Macquarie Hotel is in an excellent location. As a historic building, it is a little quirky but charming. The staff were very helpful and accommodating in supplying breakfasts when I needed to leave early in the mornings or to check in later in the evening after the reception was closed. They were also very helpful with my laundry needs. I would very much recommend the Macquarie Hotel for a great stay at a reasonable price.

The best hotel checkin experience anywhere - ever! Our host Sabina gave us the warmest welcome, showing us to our room, and ensuring we knew about our complementary breakfast and anything we might need to know. The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was easy to park and meander down to the Salamanca Markets and restaurants.

Downsides
No after-hours checking facility or reception.
There is a key safe.
Overnight traffic noise a little too much to get a good night's sleep.
