It was nice and close to the beach

It needs remodeling. The staff is attentive. Good for the price. Great location.

We really enjoyed our stay! The Twin Fin is a typical resort located at the end of Waikiki Beach. The location is great. You receive three credits a day for beach items such as chairs, umbrellas, etc., which is really nice. The pool is a nice size and the staff is quick and super nice to bring you your favorite refreshment. The rooms are average size- we had a king with a lanai (balcony) facing the ocean. We had a great view. Rooms were clean. Elevators weren’t slow - there was some wait time occasionally but no more than a minute or two. Refillable water bottles provided. We would definitely stay again. There is noise from the street but it’s Waikīkī beach - so it’s to be expected. Staff is super accommodating. Only thing we would like better is if the air conditioning was stronger in the room. Overall - 4/5 for us.

Great place to stay also kid friendly

Definitely a great location with clean room and excellent swim beach right across the road . The Tiki Bar & Grill located in the hotel is an excellent restaurant with a beautiful ocean view and great food. One improvement would be to add a small drying rack on the balcony for swimsuits and towels, which would be very convenient for guests. The biggest disappointment was the resort fee, which is over $50 per day. While it includes the use of beach equipment, the rental shop closes at 5:00 PM—right when one of the best times to enjoy the beach begins. It would be much more guest-friendly if beach chairs and umbrellas could be returned after 6:00 PM without an additional fee.

BEAUTIFUL breakfast location for a decent price. The BEST view from our room in Waikiki. Rooms are run down but are clean. Loved the pool just need towels. The restaurants on site are really good, especially Goofy.

When we first got to our room, we noticed the chair in the room was DIRTY. There was a wet stain like someone sat there naked, the arm rests were wet & sticky. It took ALL day to get it out of our room & that was after calling 4x. The pillow had mold on it. Because of the chair issue, the hotel did take off 2 nights of resort fees. The fridge stunk inside, we hadn’t even used it & it stunk the entire stay.The phone was staticky, then after the 2nd day, it didn’t work at all. The thermostat screen was broken, so we couldn’t tell what temp it was inside the room.The sliding glass door to the balcony was so hard to open/close & if you didn’t align it perfect when you closed it, you couldn’t lock it. If the carpet wasn’t the color it is, you’d see all the stains.On the 2nd day after our room was cleaned, we didn’t get towels. We asked the housekeeper for towels, she said the hotel ran out. We ended up grabbing towels from the pool multiple times so we would have towels during our stay as this happened on multiple days. Price - if you’re on a budget & want to come to HI, this is the hotel. Location:directly across from Waikiki Beach; but also loud & crowded. Free beach rentals daily. Goofy’s was delicious. Drinks were on point & staff were friendly. Hot dog shop was a great grab in the middle of the day. Cons (besides our personal experience):Pool closes at 8 pm every night. No spa/hot tub. Elevator system takes too long. Atmosphere more for younger adult vs resort. Not a fan

1. Do you need to book your stay through Expedia? I had concerns with my stay, and Expedia did not provide any help in resolving the matter. I spent 45 minutes on a Chat with Expedia, which contributed to the concern. 2. My stay at the Twin Fin was a hassle, not a vacation. I was surrounded by hotel room doors that SLAMMED SHUT 24/7. When I spoke to the front desk about this, they laughed it off. The views provided on the Twin Fin website are misleading. They are not full views, rather they are clipped views that do not include the filth and construction surrounding the hotel exterior. Then I was charged in full for a "resort fee" of $73/day. Neither the hotel nor Expedia were able to resolve my concerns.
