The good: Location is good. Very close to subway. Room and bathroom is functional. Bed was comfortable. Room size not super tiny. Staff was very helpful on returning airport bus transportation help. Rate wasn’t expensive. Consider: They provide nothing! Pay for your own water and anything else you want or need from vending machines I request a higher floor got put on 3rd floor of a 17 story hotel. Lots of younger people stay there. They hang out at night. Pretty noisy on the 3rd floor Lobby appears kind of sketchy at night. I’d rate this a 2.5* I didn’t hate it but would not return

Location was great! Super easy access to subways. Easy access to the heart of Seoul. Quiet at night. Cafes and convenience stores near by. Friendly and very Kind staffs. There is wowpass kiosk in the lobby for me to purchase a card and charge money and withdraw money. Unfortunately, there is no warter bottle, toothbrush, tooth paste are provided. However, there is a cold water fountain in each floor to refill. And there is vending machine to buy toothbrush, toothpaste and more in the lobby. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. I added breakfast for my stay. It was delicious. Many options. Having breakfast here saved time for looking for what and where to eat in the morning. I wanded to spend as much time asnpossible to explore Seoul, so I thought it was a smart idea for me. Room was small, but clean. Comfortable!

Out of the three nights I spent I had to get someone over to turn off the light so I can sleep. I do not know if it was just my luck but judging from how the staff repair this wasn’t an isolated incident.

Staff & location perfect

It was a clean room withe everything you need. At the elevator, you can find water fountain so you can start the day ready to explore the city. The location is perfect, close to the metro station but still calm enough so you can rest

Great stay!

I had a pretty disappointing experience at Travelodge and wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The main issue was with the room conditions, specifically the bathroom lighting, which wouldn’t turn off. Even after being moved to a different room, the same problem persisted. It made it extremely difficult to sleep, especially since the bathroom has glass walls and the light couldn’t be blocked out. What was most frustrating, though, was how the situation was handled. Despite the ongoing inconvenience and disruption to my stay, the hotel declined to offer any partial refund or meaningful resolution. Considering the issue directly impacted basic comfort and sleep, this response felt dismissive. Thankfully, Hotels.com stepped in and reimbursed me for part of the stay, which I appreciated. However, that only highlights the lack of accountability on the hotel’s side. Overall, the experience fell short due to both the unresolved room issues and the lack of customer service. I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you’re expecting a comfortable and responsive stay.

Very good value for the location, earlier check in than most places

Property location is ideal, as it is right outside the subway station (green line - Euljiro 3 ga) and only a few minutes walk to Myeongdong, with plenty of food options, coffee shops and convenience stores within a short walking distance. However, multiple aspects of the property condition were not up to expectations. There was no individual temperature control in the room. Central air conditioning kept the room at 26C/80F, which meant we had to turn it off and open a window to cool the room down in the evening. Some light switches (touch-sensitive pads) within the room did not work. Water pressure in the shower was low. TV remote also did not work.
