Lovely stay and good price

Location very good. Very clean.

We stayed at the Copthorne Tara Hotel and had a mixed experience. The reception staff were polite and helpful, although we had to wait until the 3:00 pm check-in time. The hotel is very busy and attracts tourists from many different cultures. Unfortunately, the hotel feels quite dated, especially for the price. Our bathroom had a ripped shower curtain, cracked sealant, and visible dirt around the bath drain, which was disappointing. The biggest drawback was the lack of a smart TV. Being unable to access YouTube or Netflix meant we were limited to local channels throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was very basic and not worth the price. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and unappetising. We also had to extend our stay by one night and were shocked to pay more than a 200% increase for two rooms. While I understand prices can fluctuate, this felt excessive. The staff were consistently courteous and helpful, which was the highlight of our stay. However, given the dated facilities, disappointing breakfast, and poor value for money, I wouldn’t stay here again. I’ve stayed in better hotels at a lower price.

A good convenient hotel for a short stay, very handy near Kensington High St, shops, food and underground. Very helpful professional staff.

Room was ok,we booked a club room, was nothing grand, windows were very grimey,the fridge was wobbly,power sockets were only on one side of the twin room.We were only there for one night,but at check in we were greeted by nice enough member of staff Iti,but she charged me for a room I'd already paid for,and charged more than I had paid originally,naturally went down to sort out.Spoke to Nida or Rida, forgot the name,she said Iti was new,she went to speak to someone out the back and to sort out but said refund could take upto 15 days, to my shock.I was there for the Bruno Mars concert,so I was pretty chilled but fortunately the manager came out and said he'd ensure it would happen quickly.He gave us a voucher for 2 free drinks at the bar.I didn't have an issue with Iti,the main thing is it was sorted. We were given a couple of vouchers at check in for the coffee shop,check-in by the way is 3pm,we got there at 3pm. We decided seeing as we had a little time we'd take advantage of this coffee shop voucher of one hot drink and cake.When we went to the coffee shop all they had was cinnamon swirl pastries and a few croissants.The man begud the counter saw our vouchers and said there are no cakes or pastry left.My friend said what about the swirls and he said oh ok you can have that.I don't understand why of check-in is 3pm and the coffee shop by this point has sold out why offer these vouchers?Breakfast is buffet style and options are very poor,you're better off eating out.

It was very good for what it cost, Monday's breakfast the food was cold, would stop again

Great that we could park outside . Prices differ by couple of £ than on website. Views .....roof and air con units!! Tv.....didn't work but chap came ASAP to mend. Rooms....basic , bit tired but clean. Great choice of signs to hang on door.Blackout curtains good.Fridge with ice box.Iron & board. Tea/coffee facilities, no water bottles but expensive shop in lobby. Staff....very helpful, courtesy phone call from reception not long after arrival.

The property was really nice. Staff amazing. My only critique is floors can be updated. A little outdated. I was on club floor 11. When my flight got cancelled I booked an extra night on a regular floor 4 which was nicer than the club floor. Loved daily breakfast included in club stay

The location is excellent, hotel is getting a bit tiered now , needs a revamp of the rooms, bar had very good food and friendly staff. Enjoyed watching the World Cup there. Beds were comfortable.

Stay here a lot when I am in London. Very close to the Tube at High Street Kensington. Nice rooms, great amenities and excellent customer service.
