This is not my first time in this hotel. Basically , if you are into nightlife Makati area is one of the places to be. Hotel is located within walking distance to many bars, restaurants and nightclubs. You are basically paying for that. It is a 3 star hotel. Nothing to brag about. One things I dislike about this hotel is the sharp edges. Bed has sharp edges and you are guaranteed to hit an edge once. Also there are sharp edges in the bathroom .. Be careful.
The least expensive rooms have no view at all, you basically get a window to a wall. If you want to spend more time in your room and want a view, I recommend upgrading. There are also comparible hotels right next to it.
Hotel has a nice Pool with fantastic view of Manila, and a nice Bar and restaurant at the top. During week-end evenings, it gets packed. Staff are not very attentive, so make sure to call for help or anything you need.
Amenities are minimal so do not expect to get lotion or extra bar of soap ... but they do provide bottle water and basic stuff.
If you are price conscious, you can definitely find better , cheaper hotel but a little further away.
My recommendation is if you are staying more than 3 days in Manila, and want to stay in this hotel , pay the extra , get breakfast included and get a room with a view. Manila is Hot and Humid during the day, and you will be most relaxed inside.
Air conditioning
