This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were rude and arrogant on check-in. Come on fellas, did your mother's not teach you basic decency and respect. The rooms including the shared showers/toilets were in a filthy state. No love and care for the guest what so ever. Only one blanket on the bed. Nothing to make a hot drink with. The internet didn't work. Such a shame as this is a historical hotel being run by a bunch of morons. It wasn't worth the $85.00. for a single person. It's best to pay a little more and really enjoy your short stay. Never Again!!!

Very lovely staff in the bar and upstairs. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms and reasonably well sound-proofed (though I was glad of my earplugs all the same).

Check-in was easy and the person I spoke to was friendly. Some more amenities in the room would be great (e.g. a glasses, cups, spoons, tissues, paper towel, etc.). There was some rubbish under the best so perhaps they hadn't been moved to vacuum under them.

Great hotel in an excellent part of the city. Across the street from the Central Market and next to the theater. There’s a nice beautiful balcony along the front of the hotel. There’s restaurant and bar downstairs are great.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Verandah room overlooking the main road was very noisy.

Everything was good. Staff excellent. Reasonably priced. Good food. It is an old hotel so can't expect it to be five star. Very convenient location. I am happy.

Old-school pub vibes with amazing staff and great drinks. The rooms are pretty basic for the price, and could definitely use a renovation, but they did the job for a short stay. Overall, a solid experience, I’d definitely come back!
