The breakfast options were quite limited, and food items were frequently not replenished unless specifically requested by guests. To make matters worse, the coffee machine was out of order, with management attributing it to peak season wear — an excuse that falls short of the standards expected at this level. Overall, the property does not quite live up to its 4-star rating. The one saving grace is its convenient location. For those seeking a genuinely superior experience, The Chateau nearby is a far better alternative and truly delivers on a 5-star promise.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The “French village” is small. Although the rooms were cleaned but bed and furniture are old. Lights in the rooms were dimmed. However, the Aircon and fan were good. Overall, the short stay at the hotel was pleasant.

No face towels and no hand towels provided in the bathroom. TV remote control is not working.

A French-themed resort on a mountain top in Malaysia was always likely to be a slightly bizarre experience, and so it proved. Enjoyable though - reasonably priced, conveniently placed, room was good, staff friendly and helpful, plenty of dining options. Biggest issue was trying not to end up in other people's selfies/photos. In-house laundry service was excellent.

Good customer service and the staff was friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is walkable and there are restaurants available too.

Good and clean, good location at middle of walking street

Overall great experience stayed

Property needs maintenance and more dinner options

Very dated overall. Could really use a big reno.

Hotel was located in an isolated area, which made it a quiet place. However, there isn't much shopping / dining / activities to do. Good place to relax and be away from hustle of life
