This hotel is very close to the Manhattan Bridge. Manhattan Bridge is just cross the street so that the surrounding area is very noisy when the trains pass.
Inside the hotel, even though there are double panel windows, you can still hear the noise. You may need ear plugs for your sleep.
If you are sensitive to the noise, do not book the hotel.
The room is clean. There is everything (toothpaste and toothbrush, etc.) in the bathroom for your needs. But the carpet in the room is very old and dirty.
There is central AC in the room which is very quiet. But you cannot adjust AC in your room. You can turn on a fan if it is too hot.
The staff at front desk are very nice, You can store your luggage for a couple of hours after you check out.
A bottle water is sold for $1 at the front desk. You can buy it @ $0.5 in the store just across the street.

We had a great stay here, everyone was very kind and helpful and the property was clean and comfortable, as well as in a convenient location-just a few blocks to a subway station. We especially appreciated getting to store our luggage at the hotel after we checked out since we had a couple of hours to kill before we left town. Would stay here again for sure!

Only issue was no bottled water included in the room, no control over air conditioning so we were sweating like crazy at night, and literally one comforter. No sheets.

Loved Hotel Mimosa and would stay there again. Room was clean and plenty big enough. A small rack to hang clothes and a desk with plenty of charging ports. Close to the subway and plenty of food and shopping a few steps away. Temperature was comfortable in June, room would get warm if we left the curtains open during the day but the fan worked well in cooling it back down. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful with a 24 hour staffed front desk.

We had a great stay at Hotel Mimosa! It was everything we needed for our trip. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, and they made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating to me. The room felt a little small but the bed was big and comfortable so it balanced out. Bathroom was clean with complimentary toiletries, water temperature was great and hot after long days of exploring. The view from my room had a nice gaze of the manhattan bridge and local Chinatown. The location serves great for exploring the neighborhood as well as getting around to uptown or brooklyn via subway nearby. I thank the hotel staff for being helpful and accommodating and I will definitely be coming back.
